The paddles that come with this set are surprisingly great. They have a harder side similar to cheaper paddles, but they also have a softer side with a tackier texture that is similar to more expensive paddles. This side is much better for putting spin on balls, and allows for better control. The actual net is great as well, and very sturdy. It can fit on a wide array of tables and retracts well. It is actually better than the nets that come with many ping pong tables, and I've used it instead of such nets many times.

I got this ping pong paddle set as a gift for my 11 year old son. He tends to get bored, and I wanted something he could use in the house, that would not break anything if he played with it. This set was a great choice, and he has enjoyed it for months now. I have a dining room table that seats eight people, so it is pretty thick and I was worried that it would not be able to grip onto the sides as it described in the information, but it fit just fine. The net is good quality, and has held up to many rambunctious game played between siblings, without breaking or tearing at all. This set came with two paddles, and I would like to see it come with four paddles to accommodate all four of my children at the same time. The paddles are something that must really endure with my kids, who tend to turn anything into a weapon of play. These ones were made pretty well, and so far have not been broken, even though one of them did accidentally let it go while hitting the ball, and it flew across the room and hit the wall. Overall, I would say this is a good purchase for a family who is looking for something for their kids to do on rainy days or indoor times. Great set to be able to have some friends over for a friendly game and for entertaining with small groups. I would recommend this to any family looking for an indoor ping pong play set.

This is well made and alot of fun!! We took this product out in the Alaskan wilderness for 3 days, it was an endless source of entertainment. It held up well even through the rain. Its easy to set up and when thr net is retracted it's quite compact. Definitely worth the money we paid for it!!

The net mechanism works beautifully. It is sturdy, easy to position, and doesn't scratch furniture. The paddles however, are not great quality. Their handles are short and awkward, and craftsmanship is shoddy. The net can be purchased on Amazon by itself, so no loss there. Just find better paddles to make a set.

Bought this for my sons for Christmas. They played it all day!

1st time to try and use. The side is broken out of the box. Doesn't seem like this will last long. 😕 It was easily assembled and I'm sure will be fun. Just not for long! Durability rating=0 🌟

This set is SO awesome! I was worried my table edge was too thick, but no. It's 2 1/2 inches, and it clamps just fine. After the third use, the rubber piece came off of one side, but it's not detrimental to the set working or being an absolute blast! My kids love it!
