Do these mics have a ratcheting stop?

the 0-1 and 1-2 don't really have the ratchet stop. the turn on them will just keep turning and it will stop feeding the spindle in so you cant force it to clamp up on the piece your measuring. you just don't get the clicking like you do with the ratchet stops. the 2-3 and 3-4 have the ratchet stops. its a nice set i work cnc vmc at a tool and die, have tolerances down to .0005 at times. the tenths come in handy and easy to set with the standards.

Great Japanese Quality

Product shipped very quickly, and is genuine quality. I was very happy that this came with a certificate of calibration.Side note, I was disappointed when I went to download the VAT invoice and they do not have one available, as this was a business purchase.

Great tools

Typical great quality. Compared to a cheaper brand side by side. Both units were withing .0002 of each other, but it's hard to emphasize how much easier these are to use. If you can afford, just buy and don't think twice. If you can't afford, buy anyway. You'll never miss the money 10 years from now.

Extremely Accurate and smooth, I LOVE THEM. I have only one minor complaint.

On the 2"-3" and the 3"-4" they have the little plastic ratchet. One i don't like that it's plastic and two, I feel the friction thimbles are so much more handy. Lastly the lock is plastic so be careful with them. Overall they are great products though.

The products are good the packing is the worst... no padding no wrap not even cardborad 580usd im high precision instruments sent as if they are a dog toy...
