Grizzly Industrial G0860-1-1/2 HP Portable Cyclone Dust Collector

Do not buy this DC. The build quality is awful. So far, in assembling I’ve had to do 3 sketchy solutions just to get it together. The handle for filter crank keeps falling off because set screw doesn’t, well set. The dust port has a major ding in it which prevents a good seal. Two of the engine housing threads just never even got tapped apparently. And the power switch that comes with it has no where to attach it to the machine. Never had a more disappointing experience with an equipment purchase.

This unit has great suction and simple to connect. I love it.

It produces great vacuum but just screams of poor quality control. The impeller is clearly unbalanced. I have seen several recent videos posted online of the same issue. Someone sure got ripped off (actually the 2 of us did). What a waste of time.

Worst dust collector I’ve owned as far as vibration and noise. It has good suction, but poor build quality at the top which creates vibration and doubles how loud it is.

Was a little worried about the early impeller imbalance/noise/vibration issues that have been commented on but ordered from Grizzly because they had a sale. Assembly was easy, was able to do it by myself and had no vibration/noise/imbalance issues what-so-ever. Very happy with the product.

I feel you get what you pay for. This machine is just the machine for you if you want a well designed easy to use machine. Make sure you purchase extra 4” hose and some Y’s you will want them afterwards.
