Where have these been hiding for the last 5 years????
I'm an Electrical Engineer. We run a 32 Channel DVR on our ranch. I don't like "Wireless" Cameras.. I drive around at times in other places and can SEE INSIDE PEOPLE'S HOUSES on my "Back-Up Camera's" Monitor in my Truck! These wireless cameras are usually "Baby monitors" or unsecured "Security Cameras"!!! EVERYTHING "Security Related" here on our ranch is "HARD WIRED!" Usually I can put, at most, 2 Cameras (Tamper Resistant, High Def, with IR Night-Vision) on one "Outdoor Rated Cat-5 Cable" (With Separate, Heavy Gage, Stranded, Wire Pair To Carry 12VDC). At Distances of about a Quarter Mile, Signal Degradation begins to Set in. I bought a BUNCH of these after reading other reviews... WOW! Out to a Half Mile, I can now carry 4 Cameras on a single Cat-5 Cable (With a Separate Power Cable and Power splitters), with a signal so clear on our Sony High-Def Monitors and Widescreen TVs, it's more clear on the Monitors than it seems to be actually when "just looking outside"! On SOME Cameras it takes a Balun at the Camera, AND at the DVR... but on most Cameras, One Balun at the DVR clears the picture up PERFECTLY! We had one set of cameras running on the same Cat-5 Cable about 800 Feet, and they "Ghosted" each other at times. Images on one camera would SLIGHTLY (But noticeably) be visible floating across the monitors showing the other camera. A Balun at each camera connection made it much more clear, but then a second Balun (for each Camera in question) AT the DVR cleared up the interference AND ALL "Ghosting" COMPLETELY! Being able to run a Camera on ONE twisted pair of wiring now frees up 6 strands of wire per Cat-5 Cable, which we have now put to use running Microphones, "PTZ" functions, Intercom points, etc. around the ranch. They've also allowed us to add several more WiFi Extenders (on Cat-5 Cables which are now no longer needed for Cameras) connected via Ethernet back to our Wired/Wireless Router and splitters at the house. This now puts almost all of our ranch under secured "WiFi" coverage (Which our iPhone 6s's are instructed to use, when available, rather than "Cellular Data"). People often say "These are great 'for the price'", but so far they've been GREAT at ANY price. Other Reviews mention "bad units", but (luckily) I haven't run into one yet, and at this price, "Big Deal, I bought A LOT of them 'Just in Case'"! Best of all, "No More Portable Soldering Iron/Heat-Shrink/etc".. Just a small screwdriver, Wire Cutter and Stripper, and yer done! Being an Electrical Engineer, OF COURSE I have made Baluns for Cameras that just had HORRIBLE problems, but these are so good I replaced the ones I made with THESE! HUGE Time, and "Space", saver, especially when you have to run a LOT of Outdoor Rated Cat-5 Cables, and BURY THEM over LONG distances... and as a bonus, On Cables already run and buried, suddenly you have a LOT of freed-up wire pairs to use for other things!!! The Camera Images are SO clear now that the "Facial And Object Recognition System" almost NEVER makes a mistake! If a vehicle or person is POSITIVELY identified, the Main Driveway Gates open automatically for People/Vehicles that are on the "Admit" list before they even get TO the gates (The UPS, Fed-Ex, and USPS, people LOVE THAT!). Mix these along with the "Maxmoral 12 Pair (12 x Male + 12 x Female) DC Power Connectors", and adding Cameras is now SUPER Easy and FAST!

They work
Good price and work well

Useful for other things, quality is wanting
I've used these for SPDIF and moving other signals over twisted pair CAT5 cable, and they work well. I have had a few of the BNC connectors come apart, so expect that. Its probably good they sell them in packs of a dozen. That way you should get ten that work!

Good product to fix ghosting
Worked great! Fixed the issue we have with a different product. Not the best, but definitely a big improvement. The good part is, adding on just one end is enough. Putting one on each end didn't improve the results.

Incorrect polarity identification
Experience with over 100 baluns taught me to check every one before installation. You don't want surprises standing on a ladder 14 feet above ground nor attempting on the ground to solve the mystery of why a carefully wired and properly labeled system does not work. These baluns had the polarity-identifying labels inverted (see picture). This seemingly minor detail can cause major inconveniences and waste of time. I had to remove the labels and reattach them in the proper orientation (cannot complicate future maintenance by leaving connections apparently inverted).Otherwise, these baluns seem to work OK.

Tests for continuity were good for positive and negative side
Bought 2 sets. Tests for continuity were good for positive and negative side. No short from positive to negative. All were good as of this writing. If someone reading this has suggestions for additional testing I'd love to hear of it.

Good product
Others said they had at least one bad connector per set so I purchased extras. No bad ones at all so now I have spares. Easy to use and worth the money.

These things suck!
I've used a few dozen of these things. Had issues with a few, but kept buying them thinking a may have gotten a bad batch. After ordering a few more times, I've found that at least 1 out of every 5 or 6 is bad.... either no signal, or weak signal.

70% of them did not work
Most of them didn't work, tried multiple ones check wires and cameras and still nothing. I ended up buying different ones at a much higher price and quality and work 100%.
