Dimensions Counted Cross Stitch Kit 'Teatime Pansies', Ivory Aida, 7'' x 5'', Small, 14 Count

When 1st ordered this embroidery kit, I received package but no product enclosed. Noticed a slit in the side where product must have fallen out-- most likely damaged during shipment. Contacted seller and they immediately sent out new one very quickly. Great product, great communication, fast shipping. A++

This is my second one of these kits and I have ordered two more. I really enjoyed the stitches with this kit because they are NOT cross stitch. I find the use of regular embroidery stitches much more engaging and fun. I work on this piece while waiting in medical offices (I drive seniors to doctor's appointments), and I find that it is a great conversation starter with other folks in the waiting room, many people have fond memories of family members who also embroidered. Framed with a light colored frame, it is gorgeous. I tend to make my stitching thicker than called for, so I may have to purchase more thread, but this adds dimension to the pattern and makes it more personal. You will find that making this very reasonably priced, fun, and beautiful piece of embroidery will allow you, also, to pass leisure time quite happily.

It was an easy pattern and plenty of floss. Arrived quickly and packaged well. I haven’t ironed it yet but like the outcome.

Still in my TODO queue. Over the years the Dimension Kits have improved; now they sort the floss and effectively label the colors with the numbers. I have learned to redesign the pattern and use 3/4 and 1/4 stitches to smooth the edges. It makes a noticeable difference even with backstitching. I have found that Dimension kits look good and take relatively little time. I found a Dimension floss to the nearest DMC color conversion chart on the internet since I often prefer not to use the included floss. BTW; despite their claims, they do not provide additional floss if needed. Unfortunately I found out the hard way and spend days trying to find a working address for Dimension. After many Google searches, I finally found a p.o box and sent them a sample of the colors I'd run out of (a result of a sorting error.) That was several months ago but have not received a reply. Another reason to convert to DMC; on a test project I found the DMC substitute as good as, or better, than the original done with Dimension floss.

This piece is almost entirely satin stitches which were very easy for beginners.

This teapot turned out well eventually, a pretty picture. There is embroidery as well as x stitch. The kit had some deficiencies, which were OK for me as I have a lot of extra fabric & thread to replace insufficient items. 1- the fabric was too small, just enough for the pattern but no room to put it in a hoop or frame it. 2- even being very conservative using the thread, I ran out of 3 colors near the end of the project. 3- the picture finished up at 4x6 not 5x7 even though I was careful to use the same count cloth as the kit states. I've done tons of these projects & don't mind a challenge, so over all, I'm happy with it. Someone else might not be.

I have not started this project but from the supplies included, I know it will be beautiful.

Dimensions has done it again. This Needlecraft Crewel Kit is another beautiful piece. It was a lot f fun to work on. This kit has everything you need to start this project. I enjoyed working on this piece and would recommend it to anyone interested in a floral kit.
