Definitely Far Better Than Most Big Box Store Staples
9-15-17I'm reviewing the 6x1 inch staples in the 200 count. WOW! I'm no professional but do like to maintain my own landscaping and its projects. I've used many other brand staples in the past but these sure blow the others out of the water. The weight alone, when these arrived through the post... I thought for sure they were automotive parts I had ordered. I think they weighed close to 20lbs! lol I mention this because this can give you insight on just how great quality these staples are.In other big box stores, I saw 50 and 75 staples listed for just under $10... and they were a quarter of the weight. The staples rust within a couple years and aren't worth the cost in comparison with these. The gauge of the metal used is so much heavier and even if they rust, it'll most definitely take more than a couple years for them to rust through, no longer able to hold the cloth.Buying them through Amazon is also the best bang for your buck, at least when I purchased them. I got almost double the amount I would have for the price, plus the ultra heavy duty quality of this product and with free shipping on top of that! (my poor postman who had to lug this in the bag..lol) I will definitely purchase these again, if I ever need to, that is. I'm confident that these will last years to come!I bought this from the seller "Sandbaggy", which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review. So far it's been a couple months only.

Wish I'd Found Sooner!
I've been working on a very large landscaping project, and I'd been buying my staples at one of the big box stores (only 75 smaller 4" staples for $9.98). These are longer, sturdier and a much better price. The photo is of the big box staple compared to these.

Best stakes I've found for the money!
These are amazing. They slide into landscaping plastic/dirt easily and I haven't bent one despite hitting rocks several times. Once in they seem to hold quite well. One warning. They work great because the ends are sharp. They will also cut you if you aren't paying close enough attention and happen to graze a knee.

Super value and high quality!
(Ship from USA) Sandbaggy 200 6" Landscape Staples~SOD Staples Garden Stakes Square Pins /ITEM NO#E8FH4F85459556(Ship from USA) Sandbaggy 200 6" Landscape Staples~SOD Staples Garden Stakes Square Pins /ITEM NO#E8FH4F85459556 We've been purchasing smaller quantities (75 pins for $10) from a big box store, and decided to look for better deal and found these offered from Sandbaggy. They are much longer (better anchoring ability) and much thicker gage than the ones we've been using and - for the price - a real deal! Arrived very quickly and were well packaged by the supplier - thank you very much!

Nice but rust quickly
Thick and sturdy yard staples but after one heavy rain they all rusted. I had to stop installing them in my flower bed holding down weed block because a storm was heading my way. Two days later when i went back to finish, there was rust on the staples that were not under the mulch. I do not know if the ones covered over with mulch are rusting already but I do know the ones that are exposed are already rusting on the tops and where they bend. I guess you need to use them and get them covered by something immediately. But they did hold the weed block in place, at least for two days so far. (I now know with leaving a review that you have to already have a picture on ur phone to add a picture to the review, I thought i could snap a pic while I was doing the review but the only option is to pick a picture already in your phone)

Prone to Rust But Otherwise Not Bad
They rust if you are well hydrated and breathe near them but they work for their intended purpose. That is if your intended purpose is to simply hold down your plastic until you get the mulch placed. I'm fairly certain they will rust into dust over the winter but as long as they hold the plastic, I'm okay with that. If you need landscape fabric stakes that don't rust, you probably wouldn't like these very much.

Pretty thin.
I like the fact that these are longer than the store bought pins. But they are thin, so they bent easily. Also, i received 200 pins just dumped into a shipping box, all together without any bags or anything. Not very impressive. I ordered different pins last year and those came packaged in bags of 50, that was helpful.

Good price, but low quality.
Good price, but they rust really badly really quickly- as in within a couple months. We live in a semi-arid area but we do water a couple times a week. If we have to pull one up we end up replacing it right away because it is too rusted and not easy to push back into our hard soil.
