I really like this bedframe. It's absolutely beautiful. When I got the bedframe, the box that the headboard was in was damaged. The only negative thing I would say about it is the shipping. This review is not about the shipping, but just as with anything being shipped, not everyone treats your products with care.On to the bed frame though. I am I very small girl and this is actually a fairly large bedframe for me. I put it all together by myself with no problems at all. I've taken apart, moved, and put it back together again also. There are quite a few slats that must be put on to the bed which allows you to get rid of your box spring. I've had my mattress right on the slats, and I've taken the slats out and put my box spring on the floor and my mattress on top of that. My queen size box spring fits perfectly into the bed frame and I like it much better without the slats. The material that it's made out of is also really easy to clean. I've had a few scuffs on it and they seem to come right off with just a slightly damp magic eraser.With just the product in mind (no shipping, etc) I would suggest this bedframe to customers. I spent a long time looking for the perfect bed frame that was not too expensive and this one turned out to be just about perfect.

This set is ship in 2 boxes with headboard in one box and the 3 frames and slats in another. I agree with the other review that the shipper is not that great. They wouldn't even wait for me to check the content of the package and basically said they couldn't careless if the package was damage by them or if it even the right item that I ordered.Anyway, this is not a review about the shipper, so here is my take on this Baxton Studio bed frame and headboard.It was very easy for me to setup my set, because I set my up without using the middle bar and slats. Basically I set up a square box and put my old box spring inside it. I have an eastern king serta icomfort insight and it fit perfectly. The whole set is very low to the ground, which can be good for some and not others. I like it, because my Yorkie can jump up and down by itself. The material feels smooth and nice to touch. The headboard is not as soft as I would have like it to be. One bad thing about this set is that the 4 silver leg stand on each of the corner is bolted by one screw only. It feels pretty lose, but the weight will come down on it, I guess.It looks and feels very good.Strong and steady frame, but lose on the small leg stand.

I had three concerns while looking for a platform bed and reading reviews: 1) is it practical to buy such a big item online, 2) transportation/damage, and 3) assembly. The first one is more philosophical, but based on reviews I was not the first one to cross that bridge. So I decided to buy. Transportation: The item arrived in two boxes, one of which was quite bitten up. However, there were no damage to the bed what so ever! Great packaging I should say. Assembly: here i should agree with other reviewers: generally easy, but there is one tricky part. There were no halls for the L-shaped metal pieces. This is normal (I had to google just in case). Just screw them on such that they support both the side rail and the front rail / the headboard. I did not have problem with installing wooden parts for support of the mattress. If they break during use, i will update the review (no problem so far and I have a heavy mattress with foam topper).Overall, the bed is gorgeous and I recommend it. One advice for potential buyers. Amazon is not the only website that sells this bed, but Amazon had a best price for this bed in BLACK color. If you want it in white then make sure you research and get the best price.

Great Value! Took two smart people 30 minutes to assemble. Directions are simple and straightforward. Especially the last part when you put the lats across.... no more endless stupid screws... everything snaps nicely. I cannot say it looks like totally real leather since I don’t have much of that in my home but it really Looks really nice and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended !Update: I have had it for about 6 months, very pleased... buying another now, though price went up 100.00Still a great value. Looks great and feels great. Admittedly, I'm using a fancy, overpriced select comfort sleep number, so I cannot say what a regular 600.00 mattress would feel like. But looks great.Also nice point is that the edges are soft so it you don't hit your shins.

Buying furniture online can be a tricky thing. You can search my past reviews for bad experiences I've had.I'm happy to report that I'm completely satisfied with this bed.The assembly process, while not as easy and well thought out as an IKEA piece, is still fairly easy. There were a few discrepancies in the instructions (for example, the instructions showed two center leg supports when my bed actually had three), but nothing that couldn't be figured out.I will say that the shorter cross-supports didn't fit into place as shown on the instructions and I had to improvise a solution.But those problems aside, I had the bed assembled in a little over an hour.At the end of the day, the bed is very study and stable. The mattress holds its position without moving. The bed feels sturdy when you rest on it and doesn't shake or creak. Likewise, the headboard doesn't give or feel weak when you sit against it. And, it looks quite nice in the apartment.I couldn't be more pleased.
