My go to when I need a pen. Fits good in your hand and writes well.

I love these pens - they glide over the paper and the ink distribution is nice and smooth, just like it says on the packaging! The Pilot G2 Retractable Premium Gel Ink Roller Ball Pen's Dynamic Gel Ink Formula is smooth writing and smear-proof. You would think all pens are equal, but I disagree. I have to work harder to write with a ballpoint pen, and other brands of gel pens. This one is by far the best I have used. The ink distribution is awesome - no skips or dark/light spots like with some other gel pens I have used. And it even has a contoured comfort grip, that is really soft and very comfortable in the hand. What is really cool about this pen is that it is refillable!!! Total bonus, so you don't have to keep paying for the plastic over and over again. Very satisfied with these pens and will buy them again for sure!

One of the most perfect pens I have used, is the best for me

I bought the uni-ball Signo Gel 207 pens several times, and I always had problems with the ink drying up and not being able to write. I tried every trick in the book to keep the ink from drying up or to get it flowing again. Nothing worked. Finally, I tried these Pilot G2 pens, and it's been an extremely pleasant experience. I've been using the same Pilot G2 pen for 1.5 years now, and it still writes perfectly. Definitely recommended.

Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there is a slight difference between the 2 pens. One seems to write and color in small places smoother than the other pen. In one pen the ink flows out smoothly and therefore is perfect. In the other pen, there is just a slight difference in the way the ink flows out and the smoothness in which it writes. It's not a huge deal but it is noticeable. But overall these are nice pens and a good price for them.

I ordered this two pack of Pilot G2 Gel Pens and they were exactly what I needed! They have a comfort grip at the base which doesn't make the pen uncomfortable to hold for extended periods of time. I also hold pens rather differently being left-handed, and I found these to be very comfortable. They're the fine point tip, and the thickness of the line the pen makes is on the back of the packaging, which is a good visual. If you're seeking a finer point pen, for smaller margins than you should select an Extra, or Ultra Fine point pen that Pilot offers. The Ink is gel too, which I find smoother to write, might not suite your needs, but if your looking for a good flowing, comfortable writing pen, you won't be disappointed.

I’m a designer and somewhat picky about my writing and drawing pens. I am very, very happy that I tried the Pilot G2 – this is a reasonably priced, great quality pen. The gel ink flows smoothly and evenly and dries very quickly, so no smudging. On paper, the pen line looks solid, crisp, and consistent - even on a paper that has a little texture. The pen is well made, not cheap plastic, and I like that it's clear plastic so you can see if the ink is running low. I bought the black pens, and I will definitely try some of the colored pens as well. I’m really pleased with these and plan to order more black pens so that I have a supply on hand. I bought these two-pack because my family needed pens out and available to instantly sign printed documents and write other things. I also have a twelve-pack version of these in black, blue, and navy all for myself. I just love the way these pens feel when I hold them, how perfectly lightweight they are (unlike some pens that are either too heavy or too light), the boldness of the ink when I write, and just the overall ease of writing with these pens. I would write with these pens for hours on end from 5 to 7 days a week. Needless to say I am a fan of these pens. I have been a fan for years and I think I always will be. These only complaint I have is these will smear if it’s rubbed a few seconds after writing, but it’s kind of expected from most gel pens and besides, they dry pretty quickly. Another complaint I have is it’s not waterproof, but again, I’m asking for too much from a gel pen.

These pens write smooth with minimal smearing (all gel pens have some smear is you don't let them dry properly). Highly recommended!
