Knock Knock What I Love about Dad Fill in the Love Book Fill-in-the-Blank Gift Journal

I bought a copy of this book for my dad back in 2016. It was the perfect gift because I knew my dad would love it more than words could describe and that he would cry nonstop or months after receiving it. I thought and thought about the perfect words to write and about how Dad would treasure each word. It's now 2025 and I have one major regret. I never got to give Dad the book. It sat on my shelf and I continually passed it promising to fill it out and present it to Dad, but never did. He died in 2020. I've looked at that little book everyday for 5 years wondering what I was going to do with it now. I didn't want to throw it away ( put it in the recycling bin actually). Finally last week I sent it to a friend's daughter and she was very excited about completing it with her son to give to her dad this Father's Day. The moral of this is story? Buy this book, by all means but make sure you fill it out and send it!!!!!!! Don't deprive your dad of the joy of receiving this love filled little treasure and don't deprive yourself of the joy of sending it!

I filled out this little booklet for my dad and he loved it. Everyone else did as well. People would always be picking it up to read through it and smile. Everyone loved it so much that they bought their own versions for different people; sisters, friends, moms, etc. After my dad passed away, people still pick it up to read it and it's a great memory. It's fun to fill out and fun to read. Highly recommended.

I had my 4 children fill this out for their dad this Father’s Day and let me tell you… tears were definitely had! It was such a sweet and meaningful gift to him. I had each child write their name at the bottom to show who answered. It was so cute trying to guess who responded with what answer. There were laughs and tears … such a sweet thing to give and doesn’t cost much at all!

A cute idea to make any father feel special. Do make sure to note the dimensions-it's a small book. This line of books can also be found in Urban Outfitters.Some of the fill in the blanks of What I Love About Dad include "I love getting your advice on___." "If I had to describe you in one word, it would be ___." "Thank you for ___." "It's fun to cheer on ___ with you." "I wish I had known you when ___."There are fifty total pages and fifty fill in the blanks. Each left page is a bolded page number, and each right page is a centered, fill in the blank. At the end of the book a page reads, "I love you, Dad." The front cover has a spot to write in the author's name. It's not the most "deep" book and is a little juvenile-I wasn't able to find a fill in the blank for father's that was substantial. It's still a cute gift and priced right.

This little book is so cute. It alows a child to fill in a blank about their dad on 50 separate pages .. it’s a hardback and the pages are constructed very well so that it should last a lifetime .. perfect keepsake for dad from his child to have forever !!!

My dad loved the book I gave it to her for Father’s Day and he saved it with the other books I bought on Amazon through the years. It’s in the collection of dad books, but I make them every year. It’s super small though but it’s super cute for all ages

I am one of six kids…so me and my sisters all wrote on different pages of this book to then give to our dad for Father’s Day. It was fun seeing the memories and thoughts it brought up for each of us. He LOVED the gift!
