The item is as advertised. It did come a little late. If you do need to make the gate not as wide as it came. You have to have the right tools and knowledge on how to do that. Not all that easy. For what you purchase it is a very good gate, easy to put together. I am very happy with purchase.

The sturdiness compared to a similar door I purchased at an orange big box store, is far superior. The adjustments to square and assembly were simple and fast. Instructions were adequate. I pilot drilled to mark the metal corner supports, then used a 3/8" bit rather than the 1/4 recommended. This allowed for easier installation of the bolts. Not necessary if you can drill straighter by hand than I.

Finally got the hardware and there’s no prefilled holes or anything I had to eventually hire someone to figure it out and still he isn’t able to complete it. I wish I could return it but I missed the window between waiting for hardware and then finding someone to try and install it. As of today it’s still not installed as he is having to figure out the engineering to it.

This is the exact gate, down to the instructions, sold under other brand names at the big box stores - except it is less expensive on Amazon.The good - decent quality of structural components, excellent quality of hinges and latch.The bad - one of the top/bottom rails was 1/4 inch longer than the other. There is enough adjustment in the hinges to compensate but makes it impossible to square. As noted by another reviewer the top caps do not fit with the hinges installed. They have tabs that are supposed to sit on each side of the through bolts but instead hit the through bolts. Had to cut those tabs off to allow the screw that retains the top cap to align with the screw hole to secure each top cap.Overall, I think it is a good gate for the price.

I bought two of these gates after returning similar gates from big box hardware store that manufacturer shipped in flimsy cardboard boxes that got damaged. These gates delivered meticulously by Amazon UPS and cost less than half what I would have paid at big box store. They look so professional with my privacy fence. Highly recommend!

Great product! Complete gate and needed hardware in one box - no back and forth to hardware store. It can also be modified for narrower opening. Like most jobs 80% of assembly took 20% of time and the last (installation) took 80% of time. Great value - $190 for everything you need including gate material, hinges, fasteners and latch.

The order was delivered promptly BUT there were pieces that were substituted and very wrong. I believe that this particular item was returned previously with the first buyer substituting what he didn't need for what he needed. I am now another week behind on closing up my yard because I was sent a product that did not have any quality control. There was some evidence that it was returned. First, the box had double staple marks but only one staple. There were multiple tags one on top of the other. Screws that came with the kit were not in a baggy but poked through the top of the accessory box. Biggest problem was the missing parts. Quality control seemed to be lacking here.
