Ultimate locker for off-road traction.
This is the 6th ARB I've owned. (2x Ford 9 inch, 1x Dana 35, 3x Dana 44) Installation was much easier compared to the older RD06 units where you have to drill the bearing cap. Although I have own two of those and they have functioned without flaw, it can be nerve-racking for a first timer to drill the bearing cap and potentially ruin an axle housing.The RD116 install was much easier. My only complaint is that I could have used some more carrier bearing shims with this unit. I installed this in a 1978 High Pinion Dana 44 from a full size Bronco and had to use every shim provided for backlash adjustment and bearing preload.

If you are looking for true quality and functionality then this is the Locker for youSince ARB started redesigning their Lockers a number of years ago they have only gotten better.This new design make installing a little easier, no grinding or drilling of the Bearing Caps makes me feel better about the installTake your time on the install and it is a worry free Locker
