Design Toscano KY1335 Rodin's Thinker Man Statue, Estate, 25 Inch, Polyresin, Antique Stone

Appearance is great and quality is super, it would of been cool if it was atleast 12 inches taller but overall still great

This is a beautiful statue. It was well made, packaged very well, and arrived quickly.

I have several Toscano sculptures; I have a sort of sculpture garden with mixed plants and statues, mostly the Greco-Roman variety. Most have come from Toscano. Their sculptures are always good quality, some better than others. The Thinker as it is commonly known by A. Rodin is one of the better ones. It is a nice size and looks good right out of the box. However, like almost all Toscano sculptures, it is a sort of dull gray and needs painting to look its best. I've included photos of the before and after. I decided to make it a dark bronze and used metallic textured spray paint from Home Depot. There is a lot of taping that has to be done, but it really adds to the appearance, in my opinion, and the paint lasts as long as the statue is not out in full sun or subject to heavy rain.

Totally satisfied and "Gus" is a great addition to our garden. We have received multiple compliments and couldn't be happier. He came well protected in packing material. Thanks!

This may be unfair, because I've always loved Rodin's The Thinker. One of my stops on our fairly frequent pilgrimmages to a local museum is always a moment in front of The Thinker to contemplate his furrowed brow and intense, almost worried, face.Now I have my own Thinker! And you should, too. Your own Thinker can reside in your house or garden, deeply ruminating the state of the world. Design Toscano's The Thinker is heavy, gorgeous, and made to last. It's a masterful replica of Rodin's statue, durable and sturdy.This large replica would make an excellent housewarming gift for any art lover, or gardener. Highly, highly recommended.

The color of the statue is concrete. Nothing like what is depicted online. If i still had the box I would return it

I love the design of this sculpture and the craftsmanship that went into it. As a child I was blessed to travel to Paris and was able to see the "Thinker" statue in real life and it was quite incredible. I was certainly excited to add this to our statue collection, but was slightly disappointed in the size in comparison to the price. The value seems pretty high considering it just an inch over two feet. I would have loved it to be large enough to stand out from my other garden collectibles. There are amazing lines on his feet, spinal cord, buttocks, veins on his arms, hands, etc. Detail is amazing and I am very pleased with this item, but just wish it was bigger to extenuate all of the beautiful details. Overall, we are so happy with this product and would recommend it based on quality!
