Q: With the Zinc in it will this work good in my 1970 440+6

Zinc is a great way to help out any engine honestly. Your 1970 engine will run very well on this. Obviously I would suggest to replace your filter as well, when adding this. I put this in my 403 Oldsmobile (1979 Tran am) and it ran amazing! Only problem I had, was my car leaks a bit and being synthetic, the oil disappeared faster... Would recommend this.

Q: Can i use this hps oil to replace the max cycle ?

Absolutely yes! It is the absence of friction modifier additives that makes an oil appropriate for use in wet clutch applications. HPS is recommended by Royal Purple as a slightly less expensive alternative to Max Cycle. The two are very similar formulations, though they are not identical.

Q: Can I use it in all 3 boxes? Engine,primary,and tranny?

No for me. My car, 1960 Triumph TR3A requires a different viscosity in its transmission and differential.
