My last one lasted 20 years
This is literally the same door knob that was on my house when I bought it 20 years ago. The old one finally broke, so I went looking for something similar. I didn't think Schlage would be making the exact same lock 20 years later, so I was surprised to find this. I don't know if the part number is identical to the one that came with my house. But it looks like the identical door knob. It was super-easy to install because the new one exactly matched the old one.And once I installed it, it was as smooth as butter. I had just gotten used to the old one getting a little tight and rough. But when I installed the new one, it was like "wow! It's so smooth!"

Quality product, easy install
Updated our Sunroom French doorway hardware. Aged bronze with oval escutcheon plate. Looks great, would buy again.

Arrived quickly, easy to install
This product (passage door handles) came with 2 handles and the internal and external hardware and screws needed to install it. It only took a screwdriver and about 5 minutes for me to replace an existing doorknob with it.

Schlage makes a good product and have used their locks for over 40+years. They and I am consistent.This and several other items were purchased in the same shine, patina, and style for a homogenous modern and clean look updating an apartment which was rented.

If you need security at your doors, buy Schlage !(anything else, or cheaper, goes to junk: Made in China ...)It was simple to install, is easy to operate, it has also a Fire-proof feature:When in emergency Exit, you don't need a key to exit your home:Even if it's locked, pressing the lock handle will UNLOCK door to ease your way out !Wonderful.

Works well and finish still good
Easy to install and works well. The door plate has bent edges requiring to hammer it in. I prefer the straight plate. Overall good product so far.

Non turning
I had to return this item as it is non-turning. This is not indicated anywhere on the listing so if you are looking for a turning handle do not buy this one.
