This book is full of color photos to help you identify feed each material and it has a load of background information as well. Great book

This has to be the best book on Feed Sacks ever printed. If you want to know everything about the feed sack history, this is the best book you will find.

A lovely book full of information about the feedsacks and their history. Although mostly about the USA there are mentions of these in the UK as well. I remember my Mother had some small cloth bags with writing on, or pictures, which she used to keep her knitting needles in and sewing bits and pieces. At the time I thought they were rubbish but now see it was an early form of recycling! The book is full of wonderful colour pictures of the patterns which bring back memories of my childhood dresses and fabrics. Thank you to Uppercut for producing this collection.
