Lights my patio
I love how this light looks. The light through the frosted glass is very nice. It isn't a 'white' white, more slightly off white.

good replacements for old lights
Install was easy and they are made sturdy. Should last a long time.

Securing to smooth PVC panel
Overall, the fixture is well made. Beware though, you need to use a Philips Screwdriver to remove fixture cover (a drill or driver with screw bit WILL strip threads. The fixture seats with a single threaded rod and cap nut like any light; however, affixing to a smooth plastic trim board allows for movement. Solve this problem by drilling a hole opposite the led circuit board ( behind the globe) and insert a #8-2.5” screw securing into trim. Use a dab of caulk to water proof if desired.

Perfect replacement
I had a light fixture like this before that was original to the house (15 years old) that the weatherstripping had failed. Because there are more of these lights near the broken one, I needed to find a match. I did. It looked exactly the same. I know there are reviews saying that it was hard to install, but it wasn't. From start (turning off the breaker) to the end (turning back on the breaker) it took maybe 15 - 20 minutes to install. I am not an electrician and you don't need to be either. to make it even better, It was also one of the least, if not the least, expensive fixtures that I found. I couldn't be happier.

Just what i needed
Needed something small, discrete, and sturdy. This should last a long time in the rough location i have it (kids, water, sun, deliveries). My only concern is inside leds probably have no replacement available. They r a uniquely small and different shape.

Exactly as promised
Very reasonably priced, these fixtures gave us the look we wanted at a decent quality. We actually ordered four very large ones for the two entrances to the new workshop attached to our new garage, and 4 smaller ones to use between each of the garage door bays and by the « person door. Combined with LED dusk til dawn bulbs, they give a lot of light at a.very low amperage draw. I rated dirability at a giess—it’s kind of silly to speculate when we’ve only had them fir a short time, but they appear similar to ones we’ve had a a seaside location for 30 years tgT are still going strong.

Not a simple porch light replacement.
It does work and it looks okay, but I was disappointed with the quality. The gaskets are made of a very cheap material and had excess that needed to be trimmed. There is a ring of weatherstrip tape on the inside backing that the glass and gasket rest on. It was applied haphazardly and leaves an inch or two with no contact. It is glued so it can't really be fixed.I was replacing an old standard porch light on the enclosed patio (aluminum surface) and was hoping this would be easy to install in it's place. This light is not designed for that. I needed to install it upright (not the horizontal option). I had two issues since it mounts from the middle, and it is designed to have a hole in the wall at the center. If installed upright, the top will either be about two inches above a typical porch light or you'll have to drill two new holes in the wall for the mounting bar. I didn't have room to spare so I had to drill new holes. Not a big deal, but something to consider. The real issue I had was the length of the nipple (the threaded tube that sticks out of the mounting hardware and through the base). It was too long when backed out as far as it could against the wall and the bulb was touching it. I could either a drill a hole into the aluminum wall to back it into, or cut it shorter. I cut about 1/4" off and it worked. One last thing to consider is the fact that when using a fluorescent or LED bulb, which have large bases, the light will be emanating from closer to the end of the glass where the lighted part of the bulb is. I think that makes it look little awkward.
