The Barn Today Is A New Day Marla Rae Wood Wall Art Panel, 12 x 18-Inch

This mounted poster is just as pictured - a small/medium sized poster mounted on 1/2 inch thick pressed board with painted edges. Colors of teal, turquoise, orange, brown, yellow and green are true to the photos. I placed it in a guest bathroom between the mirror and linen tower (above the toilet) and the width is just right. The large slot to hang the board needed a large nail or screw to mount it to the wall so I chose to use picture hanging strips on the top corners. One small problem was the cellophane wrapping and the poster material seemed to react after shipping during hot weather and the poster surface became tacky and I worried that dust and my cats' fur would stick. I liked it so much that I sprinkled talcum powder over the surface then wiped it off with a dry towel - it worked to counteract the stickiness and make the surface smooth and "dry" again. This item was on sale on Prime Day; I don't know that I would have paid full price for it.

I purchased this wall decor art for a colleague who recently earned her PhD. She was more than thrilled. Surprisingly, she shared that the colors in the wall art match colors in her living room. I did not know that as I have never visited her home. She said, "I cannot wait to mount this on my wall." She thanked me profusely. This is a beautiful pice of art--up-lifting, inspiring, motivational and attractive. I certainly made the right choice for my colleague.

It's a wonderful piece that looks like a pallet without the bulk of a pallet hanging. I bought this for my son's dorm room. The only issue we have had is it would not stay on the wall flat, so he had to angle it against of the studs in his "chill-out" space to get it to stay upright. Other wise it was a perfect pick-me-up-gift for a college student. Another thing you could do is set it on an easel.

The quotes are definitely inspirational and I've put it in our bathroom so it's seen at the start of the day. The material used is like a particle board, but smoother. It's not a piece of wood as some have mentioned in their reviews. With that said it is a nice piece to have in the house to inspire you and others. My only wish would be that it would come in a larger size.

10 yr old bathroom decor. I thought the positive words are a good morning mantra. He loves bright colors and it tied in with the curtains and decor I bought. It's not just a poster but it's on a wood base. I think it looks nice. Could be a bit bigger but I knew the size when I bought it so I'm not complaining.

i brought this piece of art and it was beautiful. I was going to hang it in my office because I love this quotes b y Marla Rae, but the back was damaged. i didn't even have to unwrap it to see the wood was destroyed at the hanging point. I was very disappointed. It does not take away from the fact that the art itself is nice but I returned it because I could not hang.

I bought something a bit similar to this and wanted this plaque also but this one was not as rustic. There is a sheen on this one which I want to try to sand off a little. I thought these were individual boards but they are not. I will keep because I do like the messages.

Great addition to my classroom! Made nicely. I wish it had a better way to hang it but looks great none the less.
