Little Skill Seekers: Word Families Paperback – April 1, 2019

This was a fun workbook that introduced my daughter to rhyming and word families, but in such an easy fun way! There are the same few activities just with different word groups. This is always really helpful when young children are learning a new concept (they don't need to get bogged down with constantly changing activities). As the book went on my 6 year old daughter knew what the activity was and could focus on learning the words and their rhyming. The age is 5-7 but I think it'd be too easy when my daughter is 7. However, my daughter thrives on repetition so she could very well enjoy this book at 7 as it'd reinforce the skills she knows.

Great workbook that does a fantastic job with making the idea of word families seem simple to our young daughter. We love it.

Recommended fro other moms, my boy/girl twins are sounding out words. They love to do the pages! I’m delighted. They are finishing the book and close to actually ready! So easy for me to guide them!

Not all workbooks are equal. My child has completely rejected other CVC pages and workbooks but likes this one.

My child struggles with Reading and sounding out. The page lessons are not overwhelming but enough to build confidence.

The little skill seeker books are definitely one of the better activity books for kids I’ve loved them all so far!

My 6-year old finished this during the lockdowns. He told me that he liked it. The only complaint is that there are not too many pages.
