Mehr(TM) Premium Detachable Leather Keychain - Elegant Valet Key Chain

Didn't come assembled (not advertised that assembly was required). 4 tiny screws fell out first day. Can't contact seller to replace lost screws. Forced to return product which is not really worth my time on such an inexpensive product. Noticed all positive reviews were given by people who received product free for review. This probably pushed all of the negative reviews down the page and inflated final rating. Honestly, product looks of decent quality, but could end up useless for you too if you need to assemble it yourself.Disclaimer: I wish I was given this product for free in exchange for a biased review, but I was not. Instead I wasted $11. Be warned.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my husband. Just arrived in the mail the other day. Delivery speed was awesome--really quick. Presentation was awesome--it came in a pretty elegant looking box. But when I looked at the keychain itself, the latch isn't straight. I don't know if it's designed to be this way (and he hasn't used it yet so I don't know if it's defected and won't latch right), but the clasp is slanted so it doesn't have a tight, even seal. I don't like that but we'll just have to wait and see if it works. I'll try to add a photo later.

I just received it in the mail. looks and feels great! However, I haven't used it yet, and the latch holding the valet key in "appears" a little un-secure (which is why I am hesitant in using these types of keychains in general), but I can't say that it's a negative as I haven't had to chance to test out it's usefulness and sturdiness. So all-in-all a great keychain so far, and elegant looking.

Absolutely loved the looks and functionality of this key chain! Then it completely fell apart! Received it in late October/November and by December it had fallen apart! (the screws came out of the metal clasp that held the leather strap and key rings all together)...too bad as the functionality was exactly what I'd been looking for. Poor quality trumps good looks....wouldn't buy again!

Very nice keychain. I haven't had any issues with the screw yet (as other reviewers posted). It's sleek. I've used it a few times for valet and I appreciate how easy it is to detach.

Good. I suggest tightening the screws, as mine unscrewed in my pocket, although after tightening there hasn't been a problem. It isn't the most comfortable chain for a tight pocket, but still a good product.

Got a black one for my husband and red one for myself. Easy to locate, clip feature useful, feel good in hand.

When I first received this key chain (about a year ago), I really liked it. I liked the feel of the leather, and how it made it easy to grab from my pocket. That was before the screws started to come out (and get lost). The first time this happened, I lost one of the four screws. When I retightened the three remaining screws, it became difficult to move the release for the releasible key ring, so that this feature became useless. When the screws loosened again (they are extremely small short screws, and loosen without warning, even when you try to pay attention to them), I lost the second screw. Now I have two of the four screws, and try to keep them very tight so that I do not loose another one (at which point it will be impossible to keep the device together at all, and it will be useless, completely).So be warned: once the screws begin to loosen and come out, you will likely become very dissatisfied with this key ring. And you need a very special small screwdriver to tighten them when they get loose. At least I had such a tiny screwdriver available when it happened to me -- otherwise you will need to find one real fast!
