An extremely useful collection that made my life easier as an Art History and Theory student, and student of Life.

Good read for people interested in philosophy, either you like it or you don't understand it, not much in between-

This book sheds light on a lot of philosophical thoughts and ideas often not discussed in the realm of philosophy. A good read indeed!

I did a report on Martin Heidegger and used this book as a reference. This book refers to a selective group of philosophers poignant view on aestheticism.

excellent reference

As a student, I bought a copy of this fully intending to read it. It ended up back in the shop as I failed to get too far past the introduction. Thirty years on and I was tempted by having another go. This new copy is now sitting on my shelf every bit as unread as the first. It's a great book - hence the five stars - but for a full review you may have to wait another thirty years.

I hate art. I only bought this book for my university course.
