Moen 8713 kitchen wall-mount faucet
This is one beautiful faucet. Although labeled a commercial type it is perfect for kitchen use. It arrived in a box that was inside a shipping box, and was in perfect condition. It performs extremely smoothly. We experienced a mounting problem which was not the fault of the faucet but instead the result of my not being able to totally remove the old unit. This required the service of a plumber who was able to overcome the problem. He mentioned that this was a Moen type that he had never seen before but one that appears to be very good. I especially like the fact that it is sonstructed of chrome platedf solid brass which means that it should easily last as lomng as this house, perhaps longer.. Although a little more expensive than some brands my family is more than satisified with this purchase...

Installation of this faucet is more complex than via the simple directions in the manual provided.
This commercial grade single-handle faucet is very well made and packed for shipment, and the basic model has been on the market for a number of years. Installing it is straightforward as far as connecting to 8" centered hot/cold lines is concerned -- but the stops under the handle that can be set to prevent scalding are not mentioned at all in the pictorial installation manual provided. Contacting Moen online or by phone will be necessary to get further instructions regarding the stops -- and a hex key (allen wrench) is needed to remove the handle and set the stops to the desired position. Otherwise, excellent product overall.

The only game in town
Long ago, a plumber taught me that with things that are a hassle to repair or replace, spend the extra and get something decent which in the case of a faucet, can last longer than you. With faucets, that means buy American (or German) and American means Moen or Koehler. American Standard isn't American, and reviews suggest Delta isn't what it used to be although they are less expensive than the other guys so maybe that's fair.By the way, this isn't just a matter of chrome covered metal vs. chrome covered plastic. Space age composite might actually be ok, but what if you need to replace a part, 9 or 10 years from now? You want to be able to go to a plumbing supply and have someone recognize the part you need.Other than very expensive commercial faucets like Chicago Faucet, the only in-wall single handle all-metal faucet left is this Moen. it's smooth as silk. Looks like a handle on a car door but again, It's the most attractive in a field of one. My only reservation is something not obvious from the photos. The cups that cover your hot and cold water pipes are held in place by retaining rings. The rings are cool looking, but their coarse threads are going to be hard to keep clean. I can see myself scrubbing hard water stains with a toothbrush but lacking any other option, I'll manage.

Arthur has backed off!
I purchased this to replace a ten year old American Standard goose neck wall mount faucet with two handles. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RP6DG8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That one started to leak and after reading some negative reviews I learned it could develop pinhole leaks elsewhere, so decided to cut my losses instead of repairing it.The availability of wall mounted one-handle, commercial grade faucets is slim pickings, and I am glad I found this one. I am a 5' 2 1/4" (every little bit helps) granny, and it never occurred to me until I did some research on Amazon that with a single handle faucet like this Moen, I would no longer have to lean forward to reach the faucet handles (thereby pizzing Arthur-on-my-back-itis off). I can also easily operate the smooth action handle with my wrist, the back of my hand, or an elbow if I stand on a step stool... which helps avoid cross-contamination.The faucet arrived today, and in my eyes it is beautiful; in most parts of the world it would be considered quite luxurious. I am humbled and profoundly thankful that in this world I am able to have clean running water. Never thought I would tear up over a faucet. Thank you, Moen. Thank you, Amazon.Update, 11-08-2019: This faucet has been installed and it works even better and looks nicer in place than I thought it would. One added benefit is that because it has one handle that is further forward than the two handles on the faucet it replaces, water drips from my wet hands directly into the sink instead of onto the narrow strip of counter just behind the sink. Bravo!

very solid body
Solid brass body. What a difference between this and the delta it replaces. This is pretty much the only single handle wall mount on the market and is pretty expensive but well worth the money. Smooth installation, easy handle movement and the thing feels like it will survive a disaster. With the way it was built, I fully expect it to last decades.

Moen 8713 Commercial M-Bition Wall Mount...
I purchased this faucet based on the reviews. Well made faucet and it looks great. I'm planning on remodeling in a few months and unfortunately my old faucet started leaking from the casing area (another brand faucet I purchased 2 years ago). Replaced old faucet with Moen 8713 wall mount faucet and it's really nice .. I wish I replaced my old faucet with this attractive faucet years ago. Everything needed for installation was in the box and it's looks great. I will not be using this attractive faucet when I remodel since I'm changing to counter faucets. After buying this faucet and seeing the quality of a well made faucet. I'll be purchasing Moen products from Amazon when I remodel my kitchen and bathrooms.

Fits for legacy wall sink
My kitchen sink is a 8-inch wall mount. It died after 60 years and the only replacements I could find were two handled or for commercial purposes. This one is both beautiful and functional and has the single handle that I need. I paired it with a swivel spout that meant it can reach the large basin sink that I have.
