I bought this laptop case in August 2011. I have carried it every day since. I loved it four years ago. And I love it now. The leather is very high quality, much like my old lambskin flight jacket. I've replaced my MacBook Pro since 2011, but this bag is as sturdy and attractive as it was the day I received it, both inside and out. I usually carry it over my shoulder, but the short handles are great too. The shoulder strap is well-padded, simple to adjust, and comfortable. The clips are heavy duty. The zippers and pulls are high quality and have never once snagged. All of the inside compartments are lined and have held up perfectly. There is plenty of room in a separate compartment for several files, along with a smaller compartment for phone, pens and checkbook. It is exceedingly well designed. This is a fairly expensive case, but it will serve you will for many years.

I tend to be pretty hard on my laptop bags. In the past, I have been disappointed with the durability of some relatively higher priced bags. This bag, however, looks to be a step above the rest in both functionality and durability.I have been using this bag for approximately 4 months. It perfectly suits my day-to-day needs going to/from the office. It has also functioned extremely well on multi-week international trips.It is well constructed with lots of convenient pockets to keep things organized. The zippers, straps, handles and clasps are solid. So far, they have shown no real signs of wear and tear. After 4 months of healthy use, it still looks like new. It also has a distinctive look when compared to the typical black bags that everyone seems to carry.I can definitely recommend this bag!

First the bag is full grain leather and for the price that is outstanding. I like soft sided bags for the plane as I show my feet up on it when its in front of me. Large amount of pockets for all stuff. Fits my Mac Air and The quality seems great. I wish the zippers where metal as the nylon ones can get off track when stressed out. I'd buy it again.

I use this bag when I'm flying and attending business meetings - looks more professional than my go-to backpack and I was able to consolidate necessary purse items (wallet, gum, medicine, chapstick, phone, sunglasses, etc.) and all of my technology (15" 2018 MacBook Pro, 10" iPad with keyboard, chargers, battery pack, cables, etc.) so I only had one carry on bag...made travel really easy and all of that fit without utilizing the expansion available. Probably holds too much (even while not extended) as when packed it was heavier than I would've liked, but that was my fault. Although it still fit, the cellphone pocket was a little snug for my iPhone 7 Plus that is in a pretty hefty case...what can I say, I have butter fingers.Love the shoulder strap that extends for crossbody, which is nice when carrying it for any distance. (Also adds additional security as you can keep the bag in front of you - less prone to pick-pockets, which is the main reason I don't travel with my backpack, especially in crowded airports.) All strap hardware is very sturdy and well-made. Strap also has a sliding, slightly padded attachment for comfort that works well.This bag fits under the seat on airplanes, has lots of organization options, has luggage strap on back to securely attach it to a suitcase that has a handle, and the leather is really top grade...soft but sturdy.As a side note, the laptop area was nice and snug for my 2018 15" MacBook Pro - may be a challenge for thicker laptops. Also, the set-up in the front pocket area was different than what is shown in the listing pictures. Mine has only two pockets and two pen slots...no credit card/ID slots at all.Improvements to this would be adding a sturdy place for a good size (24-32 oz) water bottle, and if it were available in a slightly more feminine version. Don't need or want ribbons and bows, but a less masculine look (not a fan of the contrast stitching) and an outside pocket that expands more for items typically carried in a purse would be awesome. I looked at a lot of laptop/portfolio bags made for women and they didn't meet my needs or have the overall quality/features of this bag.Hope this info helps!

I have purchased several bags by Kenneth Cole Reaction and have found them to always be of fantastic quality, and each has a well-thought-out design for a particular type of use. However, I am writing this review more geared towards the quality of the company rather than being aimed at this specific product (though I like this particular bag and have traveled around the world with it over the last 4 years).When there is ever an issue with a bag, I have always found the company to be responsive in taking care of the problem. Recently, I received a replacement bag for this case that I purchased in 2013 because they deemed the issue to be related to a defect -- free of charge! A second time, Kenneth Cole Reaction replaced a new bag that had small damage marks on the leather. I plan on being a super loyal customer and will never hesitate to buy bags for my own use or gifts. The designs are always good and they stand behind their products.Only a minor issue that I wanted to bring up with this particular model. The bag I got in 2013 had a little secret compartment on the side that was secured with their signature heavy-duty zipper. Not sure what it was for, but I found it VERY useful for my migraine cure, which I place in little vials. Whenever I started to get sick on the plane, I just reached for the compartment, and popped the pills. This compartment is now gone in this model. Now I have to rummage through a larger compartment that contains other items -- not fun when being buffeted around is a turbulent sky on the verge of a a debilitating migraine attack.
