Petunia Pickle Bottom Altogether Tote Diaper Bag in Constellation, Black

I was able to compare this tote (Altogether Tote) and the Downtown Tote from Petunia Pickle Bottom, and while both were lovely, and quite similar, I ultimately chose the Altogether Tote in Constellation. Here's why:The opening at the top of the DT is slimmer and tapered towards the top, slightly shorter in height, and slightly longer in length than the AT. The AT, when left unzipped, has a more "bucket" tote type of feel to it. The fabric on both totes is the glazed cotton. I personally prefer the darker colors since I have four kids, and know it will get the occasional bump or scuff against the car, etc... The darker color prevent any smudges or color transfer from my dark jeans to be noticed. (This is just a universal problem with glazed cotton--but it hasn't stopped me from being a PPB fan for the past 8 years! ;))I prefer the location of the straps on the AT. They attach with silver hardware at the lip of the bag, rather than to the outside of the bag as the DT does--it just looks more solid to me. Both totes include a PPB monogrammed wipes case, and fabulous foldable change pad. Really like the change pad on this one! I've always been a fan of the machine washable JuJuBe change pads, but this one looks easy to wipe down with a disinfectant wipe if needed. It's firm, but has a little give, like dense foam. The AT has the added bonus of a matching Take-Along Kit to store your change pad, wipes case, and a couple diapers. Personally, I am unimpressed. It's basically a stiff mesh rectangle. (I usually use a JuJuBe Be Quick for this--you can fit a lot more!)There is a faux leather strap with clasp on the inside of the tote that you can attach the Take-Along Kit to, or keys or whatnot. You can also unloop this strap, clip it onto the Take-Along Kit, and use as a wristlet.Another great feature of the AT is the included messenger strap. It is slim seatbelt-type material. The insides of the bag look virtually the same, with three spacious pockets on each side. They both zip mostly closed at the top.If you love Mod style, and prefer a spacious but not overwhelmingly large-feeling bag, you might want to consider the Altogether Tote over the Downtown Tote. I personally wouldn't let the inclusion of the Take-Along Kit sway you towards the AT. (especially considering the price difference) But the other feature comparisons are what sold me. :)

Loving this diaper bag. It has so much room for all the things you need with two kids, and holds my organizers well. Really like the construction of the straps. I do wish there were more outer pockets or maybe a pocket on the sides inside for holding bottles but it has lots of pockets inside. Also prefer the fabric options of the Downtown tote but ended up settling for this one because of two design features - the messenger bad strap and the ‘hinges’ on the straps that allow them to fold down when using the messenger strap. They could use a design update on that strap though - it looks like a seat belt! Overall a great stylish diaper bag.

I love this bag so much. I am going on 13 months strong using it as my main diaper bag during the day and my computer bag on the evenings and weekends while I work. The latch on my cross body strap broke after about 9 months and PPB was quick to replace it free of charge.There are so many pockets on the inner lining that I never run out of room to store what I need as a mom or when i'm not using it as a mom. The pattern is so neutral yet not bland, that I get compliments on it all the time. And best of all The quality of the bag is out of this world. I highly recommend this bag to any mama or anyone looking for a trendy well made bag for day to day use.

My last baby was born over a decade ago--and, boy, have diaper bags improved! So many chic ones to choose from! I had seen people with stylish Petunia bags and I settled on this one. I wanted one big enough to stick my 15 in laptop in (and possibly use beyond baby days!) This bag is nice and roomy with little pockets to keep things organized (though the main section can be a bit of a jumbled up pit of baby items). It is really cute, I've had lots of compliments and I can use it even when I'm dressed up. My only complaint is (as others noticed) the stitching! Mine start coming apart near the top after only a couple weeks. Amazon was great and willing to replace or pay for repair. I decided to wait and see. The stitching coming out never progressed beyond 3-4 inches so I haven't done anything about it yet. I would recommend this diaper bag!

To be honest, I was surprised with the size. I thought it will be a little big smaller, but compare with other diaper bags it's about the same. It has plenty of inside pockets to keep everything in place . Love the color and the material also. I posted a picture of the bag ready to take to the hospital , since it's my first baby and first diaper bag I'm pretty sure I packed way to much of everything.. But they fit just fine ! :-)

I cannot say enough good things. It beautiful and well made. Definitely high quality. I’m seriously obsessed with it and can’t wait to use for all four kids when new baby arrives. So happy I came across this bag!!

Im very unhappy with my PPB bag. I was so excited to get it and have a class diaper bag for my baby and in the last couple weeks I've noticed that the stitching that make each pocket inside separate from the other pockets are unraveling and, in a sense, they are becoming 1 giant pocket instead of 3 or 4 separate pockets like it should be. When you pay that much for a bag, you expect it to last a long time, not 5-6 weeks.

Petunia Pickle Bottom bags are well made and long lasting. This Altogether Tote is big enough for multiple kids, but not bulky or heavy. It's stylish and functional for busy moms.
