Rit0340179 Dye Powder-Color Remover, by The by The Yard (Pack of 3)

I received an expired/outdated product. The expiration date was 2/23/2026. I received the product 9/06/2023. Almost 6 1/2 months AFTER the expiration date. When chemicals are involved, the product cannot fully do what it's designed to do once the chemical composition begins to break down (after expiration date)

Didn’t lighten the clothing well and now my entire apartment smells AWFUL

Purchased to remove color. Only barely lightened the color, and not evenly. So then I tried two packets and after stirring two hours on top of the stove, the colors were barely faded. The fabric was linen and cotton. Disappointed in results.

I made a quilt with a horrible color....and didn't like it once it was together. I used this color remover and now it looks like a vintage baby quilt.....and everyone loved the "new version." I saw this done in a magazine and thought that some day I might need to do this. It went from "horrible - what was I thinking???" to"what a beautiful baby quilt"!

Did not work as my usual product does. Left a weird chemical like smell...

It did just what it said it would do.. I used it to lighten previous dyed fabric. It came out perfectly as we wanted..
