I order these every year for my second grade classroom for our insect unit. I’ve never ordered from this company before, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. They are so unique and a fun way to compare sand contrast different life cycles. These are by far the most active and cheapest jumping beans I’ve ever gotten. I’m so happy I’m ordering more for a friend who unexpectedly moved to grade 2 right before school begins. I want to help her start off her new grade level with something that is easy to care for and fun for students. Highly recommend this company!!!

I bought these for my nieces & nephews for Christmas. I was concerned because the outside temp was quite low here in Ohio, when I was expecting the delivery. Actually, I thought they had all died, as there was not a single little wiggle from any of them. I left them on the table for a few days, in the open packing envelope & still nothing. I was about to throw them out, but decided to give them 1 more chance. I held some in my closed hand for a little while (1-2 min). All of a sudden the little critters were jumping all over the place! They just needed more warmth!!! They were all alive & the company even sent extras, so I had more than I expected. The kids loved them. Although, I may have been even more excited & fascinated than they were. The kids get so many toys & other stuff for Christmas, so i try to get them educational things that are also fun. I'm just a geek @ heart!!!

These came on time and were very quiet at first, but as soon as they warmed up they began to pop around and the kids were delighted. We had them for a couple of weeks and then gave them to some of our other family members, who are still playing with them. The little game that came with it was even fun for the adults. Worth the money. We learned online, you needed to dampen them every day or so, to keep them alive longer.

Good price, great beans. Got for grandsons eighth birthday party. Had to order more for granddaughters birthday. Delivered early. Next batch scheduled for 24th to 26th. In local post office morning of the 21st. More than 130 beans in first package.

I have loved these since i was a kid! Im hoping i can get these guys to the moth stage. This is a great price for 50, but mine actually came with 60. EVERY single one came alive and they did perfectly fine in shipping. They’re super fun. I would just recommend spraying them with water when they arrive.

I read a book to a class of 1st graders about "jumping beans"! Then passed out 2 per child and they played the game as suggested...the whole class and PARENTS are still raving about the lesson! Probably will do again for Kindergarten this time! AWESOME...we ALL learned what they really are and why they jump!!!! ;-) joanne
