I have no idea why but I love this! I love the texture and the taste. I eat this at least twice a week for lunch.

I really like miso soup but sometimes it's just not enough. This fills that need! It's rich and savory and has a great texture. It's easy to add extra mix in's to, like green onion, and sliced chicken breast. I just wish they sold it in my area!

Good in a pinch. Added chicken stock, and a chit - ton of chili oil. Yumm

These are a close second to my homemade congeeQuick and easy. Amazon is the only place I can find them and they are always in low supply so I highly recommend.

I love good chicken congee so I was thrilled to see it's available in packets. Unfortunately, I didn't care for this one, especially the high price. Directions are in Thai, which I can't read, so I guessed 2 cups of water per packet but found I had to add a second packet (which contained a lot more product). A packet says it is 1 serving but it is a toddler's portion. Very salty! The chicken bits were good and seemed to be generous, but good congee isn't supposed to be cream of rice/baby puree, this is. Glad I tried this but won't purchase again.
