APDTY112685 Intake Manifold Crush Bolt & Grommet Set Of 10

These are the correct bolts, same as OEM. If the sleeves are a little big going into the holes of the stock plastic intake manifold, that is normal, the originals on my 2002 5.3L truck engine did the same thing coming out. Just twist them in on an angle and they will pop into the hole. I replaced mine because the old bolt heads were rusty, and the new ones come with thread lock compound applied and ready to go. After installation I cleaned the bolt heads with acetone and applied a urethane rust encapsulator paint with a small brush to give better protection than the light silver paint that is already on them. Make sure you torque them in two stages with the correct pattern per GM service manual.

The bolts fit perfectly in the manifold of my 2001 Suburban. I had one bolt that broke when I torqued it. I would recommend changing all of the bolts if you have to replace the manifold gaskets.

This was way over priced at $128. For 10 wouldn't recommend to anyone you can go to home Depot and getc this bolt for 2 for $2. Just use your old sleeve that came with the ones you took out they work just as good maybe even better

They had to be modified to work. Didn't seem oem. No oem packaging and didn't work out of the package.
