WORXWG896 12 Amp 7.5 Inch Electric Lawn Edger & Trencher, Orange and Black

This is a tough-working machine. We have an exceptionally long walk/driveway that needs edging a minimum of 3 times yearly and these units handle it easily. All manner of Worx equipment is in our power tool stable.

Works 100% better than the edger our community landscaper’s edger works. Nice clean, deep edges. Trencher works great too when digging starter trenches for installing rubber borders. 👍👍👍👍👍

Overall for the price I’ve been happy with this edger. If you do buy it, be prepared to buy replacement blades (they are relatively cheap) because I’ve had mine a year, used it maybe 6 times and I already need a new blade. I do have the bad habit of riding the edge of the cement so it doesn’t look wild but still. I also took some cutters to the blade shield in the back so it would stop catching on the grass I was cutting. Really wish the front wheel was on a spring like the old school gas powered ones. But it’s not bad at all!

So far, so good. It does what it says it will do and after a little practice I finally got it down. Now we will see how long it lasts.

I’ve had hand surgery, so I needed something light weight. This is perfect. It’s easy to handle and seems sturdy. It’s not too large which is important because I’m only 5’2. It got the job done very quick do to the fast speed. I’m 68 and quality products are important to me as I Don’t want to be repurchasing products all the time.

This works pretty well for the price. I needed to dig some gardens and this trenched out the shape and edges quite well. The ground was hard and dry, but it still edged with very little difficulty. I am 70 years old- so if I can do it, you can.

It took a lot of effort to make an edge for the first time after installing new grass. I had to stop every 3-6 feet to clear the mud from the blade and protective cover.I am hopeful that going forward it will be much easier with the initial cut being complete.

Excellent unit so far. We've used this last fall and now this spring, and it works great. Plenty of power, stable wide wheelbase, easy to see the cutting edge and easy to guide it where you want. The KEY FEATURE for us was the drop down metal guide to run along concrete edges. This sits between the blade and concrete, letting you effortlessly track along the edge without damaging the blade or concrete if you are off a bit, or as it gets knocked around from rocks and such.
