MaxiClimber MaxiSport Weight Vest, 12 lbs - Maximize Resistance and Workouts

This thing is awesome! I first saw the design on a site that targets females and jacks up all their prices Bc everything is pink... it was 8lbs and $99.00 this one is 1 or 12 lbs, I can remember, matches more, and was less than $35. Anyway, it fots like a glove- I run with it in in 90+ degree weather in the deserts of TX and I haven’t felt like it’s made the heat worse, it’s very comfortable, the weight distribution and materials are the key here. Very very minor inner arm chaffing when wearing a tank top rather than a sleeved shirt, but an easy fix. Definitely recommend this!

I mean its pretty good for the price, but the middle chest strap can be uncomfortable for women (my wife can't clip it) or men with wide chests (me) also you need more than one strap, only one is not enough.Those things aside, weight distribution is fine, it hasn't ripped or anything so its good to go

I couldn't be walking around with a weighted blank to comfort me. So I found this perfect item to help my nervous system reset itself. It brings a calm feeling to my normal day. Now add it to my wood trail walking routine and got that extra strengthen training I was seeking for my mindful walking. I love to find mindful movement in my everyday life. This vest, is comfortable and wraps well and stays where it needs to. I keep it in a ziplock bag when I am not using it, as to keep it clean. I wish it had a little cloth vest to keep it cleaner, especially once summer hits and it's touching more of my skin.

This is a great weight vest - 12lbs didn't seem like a lot when I bought it, but after wearing - 12lbs is a big difference. I've used it for walking, stair master, cardio kickboxing, yoga, weightlifting, jillian micheals at-home workout dvds- it's great. fits fairly snug - i'm a M in most women's tops (s.8) and 36D - and I have the chest strap tightened down to fit. Does move around/shift a little, when I'm jumping or burpees or such, but really stays put. The sand inside stays really evenly distributed. Has been worn for 100+ hours of workouts, from low to high intensity, body weight to burpees - and has held up really well so far. I am impressed. I have recommended it to several friends and fellow fitness enthusiasts looking to up their training. Would buy again myself if needed, very pleased!

The product I received was defective (I HOPE), from the first time I put it on it shed this "sand" at first I thought it had to do with its packaging. It is clear that this "sand" is what is meant to be the weight factor for the vest. I examined the vest fairly well and found no rips, tears or anything. It is clear that the material the vest is made of allows the "sand" to pass through with the slightest of force.Alright so I just threw out the vest... it didn't cost that much.. so what? right?WRONG... I started to find this "sand" clinging to everything magnetic in my house.For instance, I sit my macbook air on the carpet beside my bed to charge at night. Well one night this "sand" found its way into the Magsafe 2 input connection port and blocked the connection between the charger and my laptop. Of course- I wake up to a dead laptop and after finding this "sand" I had waste my time with a toothpick and needle-nose pliers trying to pry this stuff off. Thats not even the worst of it.... of course it happened again... so I vacuumed... and again the "sand"... and then.. The "sand" that found its way into my input connection left this "dust" -residue that eventually completely blocked and damaged the port. I ended up having to bring my laptop to the apple store and have it shipped out for repairs (now that 6 days I can't get any work done). I finally got my computer back and resulted to throwing out my carpet under my bed so that I could be sure I've gotten rid of this "sand". It was just a cheapo- from BJs, I'm not angry about that but needless to say I will never trust a Maxi Sport product again.

I did a lot of investigating weighted vests because I'm a big guy, currently at 260. This is not a good vest for bigger guys. I 'could' wear it as advertised but it was uncomfortable and I felt silly. I actually do use it from time to time in my hiking pack to add weight to my hikes. For that it does just fine and I'm surprised at how impactful adding this relatively low amount of weight can be on a 4+ mile hike.

Great vest. The straps are very comfortable, and the sand is distributed evenly across the entire vest so it literally can be worn for HOURS without discomfort. I wore it at work once and only started to get a LITTLE uncomfortable around hour 7. The fabric wicks sweat very well and hasn't adopted my body odor at all! Very surprised to see that.I wore it to a kickboxing class as well. A+, would recommend.The vest includes a small mesh pouch on the back for carrying small items. I haven't used it, but it would certainly come in handy.

I am not sure how other commentators who said that this thing will not last were using this vest.This is a product of a highest quality among all the "soft" weights I was using before.It was used every day for at least two hours since June 2018 and it's totally like new!Very satisfied with this purchase.
