Cooks well
A classic Le Creuset pot that performs exactly as it should. We purchased this to have a smaller size as we are now only cooking for 2 people. It is perfect for a small roast or chicken. As with all the Le Creuset cookware, it cooks evenly and the food comes out moist and tender. It cleans easily, with a mild amount of staining on the interior over time. I would recommend Le Creuset to any serious cook.

Best large pot for your kitchen
Fantastic for cooking a large meal. Perfect for braising short ribs or roasting a turkey. Easy to clean. Heats evenly and food doesn't stick to the enamel.

Perfect condition
I ordered the 8qt Shallot for the 100 year sale. They cost the same on their website and they even have giveaways there but I got it on Amazon for the easy returns in case there are pin holes or imperfections in the enamel. This is my second Le Creuset from Amazon and they have been perfect every time. I got my petal braiser elsewhere and the color is the same.

Factory defect Broken on arrival
Broken upon arrival. This was going to be a birthday gift! Had to reorder quick. Color was nice but I’m shocked at spending this much that it’s broken.
