Bigelow Tea Peppermint Bark Minty Chocolate Herbal Tea, 20 Count

I bought this for a dear friend who loves it. In the summertime she brews it and pours over ice!

I love bigelow teas and this peppermint bark tea is a favorite of mine! It has a great peppermint, chocolaty flavor without being sweet. Love to make a cup for after dinner when I am craving a taste of chocolate- it satisfies my craving.

IMO, this is the best herbal tea that exists. That said though, I would buy a lot more if it weren’t so expensive. Don’t let the picture fool you. There’s only one box.

Finding this variety in our local stores is next to impossible, I ordered her some as she likes this flavor .

I purchased Bigelow peppermint bark minty chocolate herb tea after falling in love with it from a Christmas gift. Slightly sweet from the licorice root which is an internal cleanser. I add a bit of milk to mine after steeping. Reminds me of hot chocolate! Can't wait till next season so I can gift This yummy tea!

I found this tea to taste strongly of licorice. The licorice flavor mutes any peppermint or chocolate notes that this tea has, so you feel like you're drinking some bland tea. I wish Bigelow would have increased the peppermint flavor, since that might have saved this tea. If you're looking for a chocolate flavor, I would recommend Bigelow's White Chocolate Obsession tea. Although it has caffeine, it really tastes like chocolate. And as far as peppermint chocolate tea, I find Harney and Sons Chocolate Mint Tea to have the best flavor (but you will be getting caffeine). I just don't think they can make an herbal tea with a strong enough chocolate peppermint taste at an affordable price. Even the Brew La La Chocolate Mint herbal tea that had a nice flavor came in such a small tea bag that I had to use 3 bags at a time to detect its flavor in my glass of hot water. At this point, I will continue to get flavored black teas for the chocolate and chocolate peppermint flavors I desire since they deliver on the flavor.

Bigelow tea is very nice tea. This particular product, 'Peppermint Bark" is a chocolate & mint flavored, herbal, non-caffeinated tea. It does indeed have a pleasant, mild chocolate flavor in addition to being minty. Very nice. The tea may be rather rare. I have not seen it in my grocery stores but have found it in other places. This may explain the rather high price of this box of tea on Amazon.The product description as well as some of the product information is incorrect for this item. The picture depicts a box of Bigelow tea which says that there are 20 teabags in the box and the written product description says "20 count" but the box that arrives lists 18 teabags on the front and includes only 18 bags. A fairly minor thing, but speaks to the problem, often much more significant, with Amazon product pictures and product descriptions in general.
