Funko Reaction: Big Trouble in Little China - Jack Burton Action Figure

Big Trouble in Little China is my all time favorite film. I grew up with this film, it was the film I watched every day as a child. I've probably watched Big Trouble in Little China maybe 500 times or more, so I have been eagerly awaiting these figure from Funko and their ReAction line since it was announced last year. While this figure doesn't do the character of Jack Burton justice, it's still a great figure. Jack comes with his knife which he kept in his moccasin boots in the film (which should be brown but I think Funko purposely painted the boots black since that kind of thing was very common with figures from the 1980's) and his TEC-9 machine gun. Articulation at the neck, shoulders and legs. The Fu Manchu tank top is printed extremely well on the figure. Granted this figure isn't as nice looking as the N2 Jack Burton figure, this is much more affordable. I was lucky enough to grab the N2 Jack Burton for under $100 but now that figure is hard to find and when you do it's going to run you upwards of $250. I got this figure yesterday at Target for $9.99 and pre-ordered it here on Amazon for $12.99, so much more affordable than the N2 figure. My Big hope is that Funko makes a Legacy version of Jack Burton and other Big Trouble in Little China characters in action figure form in a more accurate sculpt with more articulation in the 6" scale. Bravo Funko, you guys are getting great license' for the ReAction line and are doing better and better with the Game of Thrones Legacy line. After seeing the Rocketeer and Firefly Legacy figures from Toyfair 2015 this past weekend, I just really hope Funko does Big Trouble in Little China for the Legacy line. For now, I am very pleased with these Big Trouble in Little China ReAction figures. FULLY APPROVED.

This came as expected. Be sure to understand what this product is. This is like an action character you might have purchased in the 80s. These do not have great detail or very flexible parts. It was just what we expected. We saw the other characters at Target, but could not find this one.

Be careful with this figure. I ordered it on two seperate occasions and BOTH times the package was opened and accessories missing. On the plus side, when I complained they refunded me and I didnt have to return the figure, so I guess thats cool? Still as someone who seriously collects ReAction Figures this one is a sore spot on my shelf.

As a huge fan of the movie as a kid...along with my brother, I decided to order this as a joke gift for him (he is 43) and we both laughed about it, but I have a suspicion this will be a gift he will not lose.

My husband loves this movie, and completely geeked out over his little Jack Burton. It's the perfect size to keep on his desk at work (because nothing says "professional" quite like a Jack Burton action figure).

Compared to Lo Pan's figure... this one disappointed me a bit.. looks like an action figure of the stunt double instead of Kurt Russell

There was no figure with this just a piece of cardboard I'm returning for a full refund

Don't buy this item it is just the backing cardboard the actual figure is not included. Unlike what is described. Not happy about the false advertising. Would not recommend would give zero stars but you can't do that

Terrible condition and parts missing. Very disappointed and do not recommend

My second favourite of the lineup I wish he would hold his accessories properly but otherwise fab
