They're very warm and fit nicely. Even with thick calves, they're comfy and stay up. I wore them all winter and through the early spring and I haven't had any holes yet. They're actually better than similar, more expensive socks that I have.

Very nice and warm and come up far too

Finally found socks that stay up under my work boots (cowboy boots) and) or muck boots and rain boots.These are a nice quality, long sock that sit higher than most roper style boots. The colors are nice and neutral (black, charcoal, tan, etc)I wear a size 7 shoe and typically get stuck with socks that are too big and have the heel sitting up higher than it should. Not with these. They for my size 7 - 7.5 perfectly.Wore a pair to work the other day and loved them. It wasn't a child day, but they didn't cause my feet to be warmer than usual. It was a rainy, humid day and to be honest, I forgot I was wearing a brand new pair of socks! Now that's comfort.

These keep my feet a little warmer than my regular socks. I also like that they do come up to my knees. I saw they didn't for others, but I have short legs. I like that they're stretchy enough to fit my wide calves. I have two quibbles. One is that you can hear the elastic at the top of the socks tear a bit when you put them on. I suspect down the road I'll have to kick it old school and tie a ribbon around them to keep them up.The other problem could be mine, or Amazon's algorithm, or previous product information. I recall buying this with the idea that they were wool blend, which they are not. I can't remember if that was listed in the product information or if Amazon's search algorithm is just bad and brings up a lot of irrelevant results even when filtered for specific fabrics. Either way these socks aren't bad for non-wool socks and since I work in a climate-controlled area of a library I need to keep my feet warm, so I can't complain.

These socks are wonderful! They are thick but not too thick and they are warm! I have ordered them three times to replace my old knee socks!

I love these socks. Since there was 5 pairs in the pack, I am wearing them almost every day. I've had them for 2 months now and after multiple washings, there is no wear, the elasticity is perfect, no slippage, but not too tight. They come right to the bottom of my knee. They are warm, perfect for midwest winter, but not bulky. I have nothing negative to say about these. LOVE THEM!

Very soft, good quality and warm. If you're looking for a nice sock that doesn't feel paper thin, this is it. It's expensive to me but wow was the quality worth it and it looks great with skirts, dresses etc. It's like a schoolgirl sock, come up to a little below the knee. Hoping they make one for summer in good quality like this but not as thick
