Three Hundred Tang Poems (With Pinyin And Illustrations) (Chinese Edition)

It is excellent and easy to read. Having the Chinese Pinyin also helps with the pronunciation of the words.I like the writing from left to right across horizontally, easy for me since English is written that way. However, I would also like to see the words written from top to bottom and moved across from right to left the traditional Chinese writing style. I like the poems written in traditional Chinese style. I would like to see a version of it written in the modern simplified Chinese style. I look forward to a printed version of 300 poems in Chinese brush calligraphy, both large and mid-size strokes.

This is the perfect book for kids who are native Chinese readers or adult Chinese American who grew up abroad and can read Chinese. The explanation and annotation of the poems are perfect.

Wish the book was in traditional characters instead of simplified otherwise the format and illustrations are very nice.

Feel so disappointed that there is no CD, only a code to get the audio on phone. But I want CD, the description is deceiving.

The book is good. But the audio CD is missing. I asked a replacement for the CD, but received the same book without CD again. I decide to accept it as it is since the book itself worth it.

My elderly Dad knows these poems and I thought he would enjoy this illustrated edition. This is a lovely hardcover edition, about 7.5" wide by 7" high (it's smaller than I thought), well produced. Something I read made me think it came with a CD, but it does not. It's not even designed with a CD pocket, so perhaps it's a mistake.Printing is good and legible even with the pinyin above each character, though I was hoping for larger print characters for aging eyes. And, this is in simplified Chinese characters, not traditional Chinese.Lovely book; recommended.
