Lincoln all the way !!!
I needed to be able to add welding to the list of things i can do for my lawn mower repair shop. I took a night school class and Lincoln welders were donated for us to use. I made my decision and used the discount from the class to purchase. I've gone through many spools just fixing up mower decks and frames. Great machine. Could not be happier.

Great choice for home shop.
The welder is perfect for my home projects. I normally weld 1/4 to 5/16. I strongly agree it can weld 1/2". I have welded up to 3/8" on the machine so far. I am very satisfied with the construction of the machine and the performance.

NO FIRE IN THE WIRE
Very glad to get this Lincoln 180 mig. Until I plug it in and it did not weld. It came on and the fan came on. BUT NO FIRE IN THE WIRE. I think maybe something that does not work deserves a 0.

DEFECTIVE
This welder was DEFECTIVE. Would not strike an arc. It seemed like the machine didn’t get hot enough. I had to send it back for a refund.
