LOVED WATCHING MY NEPHEW ENJOY IT!!!

The Rock Crawler Extreme is FANTASTIC. My 7 year-old LOVES it. I chose this one from a list of highly-rated cars because it's max speed isn't too fast for a kid to handle. It can also drive over obstacles that I wouldn't have thought were possible! My kids have a great time building new obstacles for it with pillows and toys and seeing what it can get over. I love it too!I purchased this car after returning some other disappointing ones - either the batteries would die in minutes, or it was too hard to drive.Cons:- It didn't come in the actual package, just in a plain brown box, so it wasn't AS exciting to open on Christmas morning, but obviously not important for using the car.- The little grey clips on the top of the car pop off somewhat easily. It does come with extras though, which is great- We initially didn't notice that there were hard "tubes" to run the antennas for the car and remote through. So we were trying to tie the antenna up in weird ways so it wouldn't drive over its own antenna. The antenna on the remote also got ripped off, so we had to open up the remote and reattach the electrical. Then I noticed in an online video that the tubes need to be placed over the antennas, so we found them in the packaging (luckily we still had it) and got it all sorted out.- No instructions came with the car (probably would have helped with the antenna issue above)Pros:- It is a climbing machine! Which makes it super fun for kids to play with. If it can't make it over something you can easily keep going forward/reverse and it will often get over really hard obstacles!- Just the right speed for kids - not so fast that it's out of control and crashing into walls- The wheels are really soft and stick out past the front and rear of the car so when it does crash into walls - no damage to walls- Batteries last a really long time (6 AAs in car, 2 AAAs in remote)

I was looking for an RC car that would be easy to operate, run for a decent amount of time and most importantly, be able to handle our irregular sidewalks and go on grass for my 6yr old. Well I'm glad I bought this. It's great. I was pleasantly surprised how long it ran before needing new batteries, although I will swtich to rechargeables now. I think it lasted a solid day & a half's worth, which might seem short but it was many runs. And since it is battery operated, no time wasted to charge and definitely way longer playing time than what a normal charge will allow. It's easy & straightforward to use the controller. And IT DOES GO OFF ROAD! Went on grass, uneven sidewalks, dirt, carpet, sand at a beach, up pillows and various inclines, even went down stairs (they were low rise with wide tread).Downsides or at least Considerations:Not fast. Note the title of the product - it says "Crawler", not "Racer". It's not slow but if my son ran, he could outrun it. But he would have to jog a little to keep up with it.There is no on/off switch for the control. Maybe it's not needed? There is an on/off switch on car.It's a little loud with an annoying buzzing sound. Not super loud - just annoying if the car is running in the same room you are and you're trying to talk to someone.It can't handle tall grass, like several inches long.Not meant for water, I think, so we avoided going through puddles and wet grass.FYI: At the time of order, I paid $25 on Amazon. A few days later (after Christmas) I see it's now over $40 but the truck/buggy version is $27.

I was not expecting a lot for the price I was paying($21.66 at the time). This R/C has got to be one of the best values going in its market. Worth double the price I paid. I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and this rates near the top of my best buys. I bought 3 of these at Christmas, one for me(52 yrs old) and 2 for potential son in laws(both in mid 20's). Just something fun for Christmas day I thought. The ad said colors may vary and I received 2 red cars and one blue, so that was great. All 3 cars have been run multiple times without any issues so far. They climb like crazy, much better than I expected. Each wheel has independent suspension. No throttle/speed control. You are either going full speed or stopped, same for both forward and reverse, but for the price I can't complain too much. These cars aren't really fast but they're meant for climbing and obstacle courses so to me the speed seems correct. We have a habit of turning obstacle course racing into crash derbies trying to flip each other over. There's a lot of running into each other and even rolling over each other. Lots of abuse but they're still going strong. They all ran on regular Kirkland batteries for about 45 minutes before a noticeable power drop. We get a little longer out of the rechargeable batteries. I recommend Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries. 6 stars for these cars if I could. Highly recommended! Amazon was great to buy from as usual...

For the price this is a great little RC car. I ended up getting it for $24.99. It's 4 wheel drive, so there is a motor for both the front and back wheels. The wheels are big so I don't foresee this car getting stuck on anything that I would be driving it through. I bought it mostly for driving around in the house. It's winter, and I was looking for a fun way to chase my son around the house. In the spring/summer I'll be chasing him around the park, and our block with this little car.Since I've only used it in the house, I can't comment on the RC range yet. The nice thing about this car is the tire size. If you crash it into anything it'll hit tires first, unless you happen to hit a chair leg dead center, in that case you'll hit the soft plastic body. I have seem people comment on how the body is cheap soft plastic, but I think that's an advantage for the reason I described above.This car is not very fast, you will not win any races with it. I think the maximum speed is somewhere between 5 and 10 miles an hour given a long enough straight away. So far this works better, and has lasted far longer than the Lutema RC car that I replaced with this model.

La construcción del juguete en la parte de carro-seria es decir de la parte de arriba es de un plástico flexible y eso es bueno pues los niños no tienen del todo cuidado con las caídas las volcaduras. Tiene unos ganchitos que sujeta la carro seria se pierden mucho hay que tener cuidado con eso a un que el juguete trae mas para reponer les sugiero eso.Desventaja la verdad al ser un veiculo 4x4 consume mucha materia es obligatorio comprar baterías recargable el control lleva 2 AAA.Otra cosa el gatillo que trae el control se pone flojo con el uso y se vuelve mas sensible debido a que se pone flojo.Compre 3 de estos y a un le falto la tapa del control, lu he probado en tierra no humeada y piedras jala muy bien no les recomiendo usarlo en arena pues estos puede me tercer en los motores de la transmisión.

compre un par, uno para mi y otro para mi sobrino y les sacamos el mayor del provecho posible

The media could not be loaded.  El control tiene muy buen alcance.El carro no tiene mucha velocidad, pero para su precio es bastante bueno siendo todo terreno.En mi experiencia la batería le duró un buen tiempo.Tiene buenos amortiguadores.También llegó en pocos días y todo estaba bien empacado.En general me parece un buen carro todoterreno.

El mejor radiocontrol que he tenido hasta ahora, el hecho de que sea Maisto es garantía de un buen producto. Cuenta con tres velocidades y los amortiguadores funcionan muy bien. En grava delgada o arena puede llegar a estancarse pero sale con la reversa. Tal vez el único detalle es que usa 6 pilas 2AA, pero comprando recargables no le veo mayor problema. Muy recomendable para niños, adolescentes e incluso adultos.

Excelente carro por el precio adquirido, sin embargo, hay algunos detalles como los que comentaron anteriormente, Demasiadas pilas 8 en total 6 AA para el coche, y 2 AAA para el control. El plastico del chasis no es rígido, yo lo ubico como el plástico de los sombreros que regalan en fiestas (si es buena referencia). Aunque supongo que esta ideado para realizar tus propios diseños. Ya que el chasis no viene atornillado si no sostenido con unas pequeñas grapas de plastico. En general quedo satisfecho con la compra.
