GildanAdult Heavy Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Style G5400, 2-Pack

I always buy from this brand when I can. This is my 3rd review now (bought 3 different colors of this style). Can't say anything bad about them.

Comparing these to other long-sleeve T-shirts I own:Size: I am 5'6" and 154 lbs. I need a medium in these, and they are sized almost identical to the small size LLBean.Fabric: the fabric quality is decent but not nearly as heavy as my LLBean T's. They are about the same apparent quality as Lands End T's. However, the Gildeans were 2 for $16 ($8 each), whereas the LLBean and LandsEnd T's are typically about $30 each.Stitching: my initial impression was the stitching was good; even seams and no puckers. However, after wearing them about 10 times, the seams under the arms of one of the T's is coming apart. It appears they didn't leave enough fabric to sew a secure seam (it was stitched too close to the edge). In this regard, they are not nearly as durable as LLBean, but then again these were only $8 each.

I wanted a plain black long sleeved shirt, and that's what I got. Two weeks in and there's a hole in the armpit where the stitching is coming undone, but I'll just stitch it up.

I have had mixed results with Gildan. These go into the good column. Not super heavy cotton - more mid-weight, (if such a thing exists.) I tend to run between small/medium depending upon the maker and the cut. These were ordered in medium, and after washing I would characterize them as slim fit medium. The cuffs and collar are nicely finished. The shoulder seams hit me right as they should. I'm knocking off points for the huge scratchy neck tags that will require scissor surgery.Good for wear under a shirt or light jacket on cool days. Hard to beat the price!

These long sleeves are nice. Great quality from Gildan as usual. My only problem with these is that they're too short. It'd be great if they were just a couple inches longer.

These are my favorite type of long sleeve shirt to wear under my uniform.Typically, I have them with logos as they are used by many places for their durability.I bought these because I was tired of having logos and wanted just a plain shirt.These are very comfortable and I will order them again.My only gripe is that these seemed to have shrunk after a few washes. Not a deal breaker, but still a great value.

Size is good, color is good, but certainly is not heavy cotton, actually very thin. Its great for summer months for protection from the sun.

A good everyday long-sleeve t-shirt! It's comfortable, fits right, and holds its shape.

Les chandails conviennent parfaitement Une fois lavé à la laveuse et sans séchage, je l’ai trouvé légèrement plus petit. Pour quelqu’un qui souhaite être moins ‘’ serré ‘’ dedans, quelque chose de plus ample, prendre une grandeur au dessus. Belle qualité de tissus. Pour les chandails blancs, on voit légèrement au travers. Prévoir une camisole en dessous. Très contente de mon achat.

Brought the short sleeves version it was good for the price thus brought the long sleeves. Cuffs were just right not too tight nor loose.

Exactly what I was expecting! Fits perfectly, great value for money!

Material is pretty sturdy and not thin like other shirts. Fit was what I expected and the sleeves were nice and long... I am 6'2 with long arms and it fits nice.
