It did take quite a while to put it together. Wasn’t necessarily hard, but there are many pieces. My son put this together for me, without any hiccups. It was packed like no other furniture I’ve ever received. The packaging was phenomenal. They even had extra pieces of wood protecting the ends, so that nothing would get scratched. Hands down the best “assemble yourself” piece I’ve ever seen. And the quality is just stunning. Looks very nice. I guess the the only problem I have with it is that the doors somewhat rub, when you open and shut. Cannot be adjusted, because of the way the hardware is pre-made to fit certain areas. And not sure you could lift from the top, just because of the kind of hardware holding it together, but it is truly a beautiful piece. Very pleased.

I assembled it myself, with just a helper to hold things in place for me. It says power tools aren't needed, but there's a few parts where it expects you to screw directly into the wood, which is obviously WAY easier with a power drill than just a screwdriver. When you assemble the individual shelves, you'll need to put a screw in a hole that's just a liiitle too small, which isn't a big deal except that there's a groove nearby, and trying to get the screw in would crack the wood into the groove. My solution was to use shorter screws than suggested. I can't remember now if screw R or S is the short one, but one of those is short and the other is longer. Since I had a few extra, I just substituted the shorter screws for this part.Otherwise, assembly was very easy! I'm not taking off a star for that since it wasn't too big of a deal and every other part was so easy. The finished sideboard also looks LOVELY and feels very sturdy. The box it was shipped in did look banged up, but nothing was damaged inside. I've gotten tons of compliments from everyone who's seen it about how nice it looks, so it gets a 5 star review over all!

Received today and the box it came in had holes and dents all over the place, so I was hoping it came out good. For the most part it looks really good but it does have some slight damage in about 7 different places that you can’t see thankfully it’s not in the front or the side that people can still see from where it sits. One spot was on the top but I was able to fix it with a Mohawk Fil-Stik in white. The complete assembly of this product, which was short on a few of the locking screws, but good thing I had some left from another project, took me about two and three-quarter hours, as I broke it up with one hour at my lunchtime. Like pretty much everyone, we picked up on the top to move it 3 inches and we do not feel that it’s locked good enough on the four corners. There’s actually only dowels in those areas for the most part. Other than that it is made very well is all of the wood pieces are thick, sturdy and even fairly heavy. The unit itself is about 102 pounds and in the box it came in it was about 108 pounds

Loved this table. I looked at a lot of tables both on Amazon and Wayfair before picking this. Wayfair had the same table priced higher! This table is beautiful, well priced and very elegant looking in the space we put it in. It was very easy to assemble it, 2 of us did it in about 1.5 hrs. The instructions are clear and the parts are labelled very well. The box arrived in very good condition (was very heavy) i couldn't move it inside alone! The pieces were absolutely fine, no damage at all. I loved this table and have not one negative comment about it. I will post better pictures, but this is all i got now.

Used for storing DVD's and Electronic components on top. Tales a little time to assemble. Give yourself plenty of room to lay everything out in order and have an adequate assembly area. Everything fits good and the finished item is sturdy, functional and looks good. Take your time...

The box looked to be in pretty rough shape with some gauges and other such marks. That does not surprise me since it is a heavy and big box. I was happy that when I opened it, the packing did its job and the item was not damaged. The instructions that were included with mine had 2 pieces marked that did not match the instructions, as well as it did not provide the instructions on inserting the glass on the doors. I was able to figure it out quite easily. I also later found out the manufacture website had PDF instructions and this lined up perfectly and included the missing steps. While watching TV, I spent about 3.5 hours total in assembling the item. Pieces went together as they should and the items seems to be of good quality.

Beautiful piece of furniture. Solid and appears to be well constructed. Matches another piece of furniture in espresso finish perfectly. Looks more expensive than price paid. The height is perfect for viewing a 55" TV if you can't mount on a wall. Was time consuming to assemble but with furniture this size, you should expect that. Not too difficult if you follow the directions. Highly recommend.

It’s beautiful. I am very happy with it. Be prepared to spend some time putting it together. Took my boys 2 1/2 hours to put together.

This went together with very little effort and is amazingly sturdy and looks great! Only thing I wish was that it was not made in China as we try not to buy anything they make but that is hard to do.
