This beautiful book is in excellent condition. So much so you could give as a gift. Highly recommend this seller. Packaging protected the book during delivery. Delivery timing was earlier than anticipated.If the book was wrapped in sealed plastic you would think it was new. Thank you you very much.

I purchased the author's previous book, French Country Cottage, and loved that, so I was eager to buy this one when it came out. I promptly sat down to read it through when I received it, anticipating that it was going to be as enthralling as the first book. I was wrong about that, and I feel the title of the book is a bit misleading. It is full of gorgeous photos and beautiful tablescapes, but it's arranged so that a few items are shown in a picture on one page, and the whole other page is a relatively short paragraph about the specific table setting, serving piece or table decoration and why the author chose it and loves it. The pieces shown are very pretty and it's enjoyable to read why the author chose to use them, but the title of the book implies actual gatherings, not just photos & brief descriptions - it's like a lot of set pieces; no people shown at the tables and very little food (no recipes at all, so if you're expecting that, you'll be disappointed). So, in my mind, it's not about "gatherings", it's about table settings, and it would have been more appropriate to call the book "French Cottage Inspired Tablescapes" or something similar. I likely would have purchased it, anyway, but my expectations would have been very different and I wouldn't have felt let down by the contents the way I did here. I don't necessarily blame the author, as this may have been a publisher's decision.

I am waiting for a good time to sit and take this book in. It's a GORGEOUS to look at and it's been on my wish list for awhile considering I did not "need" another.....but I decided life's short, and I wanted to order it. The icing on the cake is how beautiful this book is just laying there. I am delighted to see it is full of lovely photographs. There are times that I want to read and sometimes I just want to take in beautiful images. If you love flower's and outdoor landscapes with a romantic touch I believe this book is for you. I know it's for me. Love, love, love or as Mama says, red heart, red heart, red heart ❤️ .

French Country Cottage Inspired Gatherings is a beautiful book that I will treasure for years to come. The photography of charming and romantic table settings is superb. I want to step into the pictures and enjoy the scrumptious-looking food! I purchased this author's first book and I love it, but this one is my "cup of tea" as I love pretty dishes, flowers, and tablescapes. You can glean suggestions for intimate settings or ideas for larger groups. I especially like how the author details the elements and layers that you need for a gathering, and then shows you how to create gatherings in numerous settings and for each season of the year. I highly recommend this lovely book.

Beautiful pictures and cover to display book

This is a lovely book for inspiration. Great photos, etc.

I wanted a book on creating french design. It's a book about using florist. Unless you have access to the wholesale flower market this book isn't useful. The table setting are very pretty, but the pictures are repetitive. Lovely photography but little help in creating french design. Flowers make a room, but one bouquet of peonies spread around isn't country french. I was very disappointed in the lack of diversity or direction in a book at this price. I thought perhaps it was an add for a blog and that there would be useful info there. But no. Don't waste your money

Wunderschönes, inspirierendes Bilderbuch. Die Tischdeko ist toll, die Blumen sind überwältigend, die Umgebung traumhaft. Und doch bin ich etwas enttäuscht, denn wenn man selber keinen riesigen Garten hat und kübelweise mit zauberhaften Blumen dekorieren kann, nicht Unmenngen an unterschiedlichsten, zu jeder Gelegenheit und Umgebung passenden Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser zur Verfügung hat, bleiben nicht mehr so viele Ideen übrig. Da habe ich mir mehr erhofft.Trotzdem ist es ein sehr schönes Buch!

This book is so nice to look at. Since I received it I’ve revisited it many times just to relax and escape from our crazy pandemic lives. I have absolutely no regrets buying it.

Love this book but her first one was a little better.
