Made delicious cake balls

Love this cake and frosting. Some say it's too sweet, but it's what my mom used to make me every year for my birthday. I'll be 60 this year and wanted to celebrate with my favorite cake even though my family is all gone. I will have a big piece in their memory. I gave it four stars because the box/packaging was smashed, but it didn't hurt the contents. Just thought it could have been packaged better.

I couldn’t find this cake mix anywhere in my local grocery stores. My brother wanted it for his birthday celebration. My mother use to make this for us when we were little, so it was a big deal to find it. Anyway, as always it was super moist and delicious, just like we remembered.

This is my husband's favorite cake. I was so excited to find these on Amazon. I haven't seen them in stores for years. If you like cherry you will love it.

It is the favourite flavour of a friend of mine, and he goes on and on about how much he loves cherry chip cake. But over the years, I could never find it. I made him rainbow chip, and he liked it, but mentioned cherry chip. So I finally bit the bullet and forked over the funds for this mix.I am not a big fan of artificial cherry taste, but my friend was over the moon over it, so it was worth it.Not related to the purchase, but just a suggestion for those who buy this item, I made cupcakes out of it, and I frosted half with the cherry frosting (included in this order) and half with a cream cheese frosting. My friend preferred the latter, because he said he could really taste the cherry chip cake that way, versus just having an explosion of cherry in his mouth.
