42" Sod Staple Driver, Landscape Spikes Setter, Garden Stake Installer

We are super pleased with this driver. It has made using landscape fabric easier.The magnetic end holds the staple so that you can lift the driver and pound the staple in the ground. We found the Pinnacle staples sold on Amazon worked best with it. But it even worked with the cheap thin staples/pins we had leftover from last year's garden project.We are buying a second one.

Great tool to have in the garden! My problem is that where we live , there are rocks, rocks, and more rocks. Even when we think we have them all you seem to find more. The tool works great, but if you have anything that the staple can hit (like rocks), it instantly bends the staple. I highly recommend this tool for people who have a very rock/ debris free area other wise you will spend more time straightening staples and bent over in the garden anyways.

This item is genius. It's a back saver for sure. No more bending to pound staples in the ground, like I use to. It can be use for small and large projects. You can even use it to pick up metal items that you drop. Best garden investment ever!!

We spent a long time and lots of labor in putting landscape staples down by hand last year. It was back-breaking work. When we found this tool we were skeptical but after using it this year we are entirely happy with the purchase. It holds the staple firmly and jabs it right into the ground without a lot of force. Even old staples that have rust on them went smoothly through the ground cover and dirt without a hitch. It is sturdy, functional, and very satisfying to use!

We use it all the time...even if its only 10 staples for geotextile.

This lawn staple driver is good concept but, the design allows the the staples to be bent easily and if you do not get staple in all the way on the first jab you may want to have a rubber mallet nearby. Giving 2 stars because concept is good and it “could” be a back saver if design was better or a bit more versatile. If it had a sleeve that could hold staples on each side as they are driven in ground; that may have helped. It only holds staple at the top with magnet. I used 10” staples, maybe shorter ones work better? I was really hoping for better, but it just didn’t work for my job, and had to return.

Makes installing landscape fabric a breeze. I used a rubber mallet last year. Difference like night and day. Get one. Your back and knees will thank you.

Made well, works good too. We used it to set over 5000 staples without any issues. It’s a real knee and back saver as opposed to bending over or kneeling to set staples by hand. Would buy again.
