Ball Jar with Lid and Band - Pick Your Size and Color (Purple, Wide Mouth Quart - 32 oz.)

I bought this mason jar for several reasons - the primary reason is because I have had several surgeries to remove intestines (including all of my large intestine) and therefore I have absorption issues and must drink a ton of water ... which is hard. I was using 800ml glass Voss water bottles (which are super, by the way!) but still struggled to get in enough water. Then I went to a restaurant and they served water in 32oz (920ml) Mason jars (just like this one!) with a stainless steel straw and I drank the entire jar at lunch ... I was astounded! I really liked that it had the measurements on the side (just like this one). And ... it’s super silly, but the purple is just cool. I paired it with a cobalt blue glass straw and I am now consistently (that’s the key!) drinking more water than I ever have. The glass is nice and thick, the color is gorgeous ... just wish it wasn’t so dang expensive. But it was worth it for me! Hope this helps you!

Love the color. I am ordering more as they are perfect for decorating let alone food storage. The company is easy to deal with for problems. I got the first jar intact, but somehow the lid was dented in transit and not safe for canning. They just immediately replaced and I got another. I thought I had already reviewed this, but since the pandemic shipments are flying right and left to avoid all the foot traffic we normally generate. Even gardening stuff. So, sorry to the company for that. I know some of the smaller businesses rely on good reviews and some bend over backwards to accommodate you when problems arise. Shout out to the smaller businesses. Hang in there.

I just bought cause it was pretty color. And useful to freeze my chili salsa for family

This is a really nice Jar but a little overpriced, I would recommend it to anyone who has an extra 16 dollars to spend!

The pictures made this purple look appealing but it's a very muted disappointing grayish purple.Stability wise it's a nice storage jar I can use in fridge or whatever.

It came in an envelope! :o You know, those gold, bubble wrap types? Still mind-blown that the only thing ...ajar... was a shallow, 2mm sized dent in the band. Barely noticable. This Ball Mason jar is a toughy to make it all the way to Hawaii - in an envelope! LolFilled it with lavender flowers for tea and simmering potpourri.

The divided square mesh keeps flowers upright and not falling over making bouquets look nice. It's easy to add water when needed but not as easy to change water. You need to either remove lid with flowers or dump dirty water out with flowers and lid in place. This is especially nice with tulips
