Excellent product at an excellent price. Just bought one; I had one several years ago and left it behind when making a long household move - and regretted that decision. Cooks nicely, gets hot and less likely than gas to incinerate your food. This grill is very well made and assembly was nice. The one mistake I made was due to not reading directions carefully. A gas grill in this price range would not be as solid or stable - would likely have very thin steel vs this one.Things to know: 1. It doesn’t heat up as fast as gas grills, so takes a little longer, especially in cool weather. 2. Drips do evaporate and give a grill flavor, but more liquid makes its way to the grease cup than for a gas grill, so check and empty it often. 3. Very important to keep it shut as best possible for better flavor and heat retention. 4. Need to be more careful to cover and/or store inside than for a gas grill since it’s electric. Obviously needs to be unplugged after use!!! All in all, a great value and now priced well below the price I paid in the past!

Loved this, very easy to install, works great, love the color, worth the money

We've been through a season with this now, and we love it. It heats up reasonably quickly, cooks evenly, and has provided lovely grilled items without the smoke or fuel exhaust being added into the food. Though some would say that makes it missing the extra grilled flavor of charcoal or wood, we love it. It cleans up fairly easily too.

Fairly easy to assemble and the compact size is perfect for apartment balcony.Grill can be removed for easy cleaning.Only thing is that the temp (even when turned up to the highest setting) is not hot enough.I set the temp to the highest setting for more than 30 min with lid closed but the temp failed to reach the highest setting.

Superior grill, note, arrives carefully packaged AND virtually near completely disassembled. Clear instructions, take your time, but for me no easy task to build for use.

After you preheat the grill you get the sear on the steak. By the time you flip the steak, the grill is not hot enough to sear the other side. When the weather gets cooler out it is hard to get the grill hot.Going to keep it as a warming station.

We used to have the propane version when it first came out and decided to buy a new one. We went with the electric and so glad we did. It's so easy to use and the food taste just as good. Also love that it doesn't take up a lot of space. We use it at least three times a week. It has made grilling so much fun and easier! Highly recommend!

The grill may be very good, we haven’t used it yet. It was missing one set of screws needed. I had given them the model # and screws that were missing. I called Car-broil. I was told the screws come from over seas and they don’t stock them. My husband and I are in our 80s and putting this grill together was a chore for us. This is extremely poor customer service. Surely we are not the first customer to be missing a part. I was told to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot to find a screw that fits. That they don’t stock spare parts is unforgivable. It’s not like we can take this apart and return it! Shameful!!!
