Faraday Fabric, 44'' 36'' Shielding Fabric, Copper Faraday Cage Enclosure(1 Yard,44 * 36 inch)

I use this fabric to create a laptop and multiple cell phone RF protectors. This is a very easy fabric to work with which I lined the projects with. I experimented with several designs and found that if I used a single continuous piece and folded it over, it worked much better than if I cut separate panels and sewed them or stitched them together.Near field signal was reduced significantly but not totally stopped. If you stepped away a couple feet, the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other signals were significantly reduced or completely stopped.Again, don't try to stitch multiple pieces together since it's continuity or conductivity doesn't work as well between the different pieces. A single large piece that is folded over works much better.I used smaller scrap pieces as an insert to my wallet and found that it reduced or eliminated the ability for my tile wallet card to be readable. Additionally, the NFC chips in my credit cards were no longer readable from outside the wallet. Pretty neat stuff.

Great fabric and works well. I purchased several to cover laptops and devices in my home. Definitely purchase the tape to keep the sides of the fabric from fraying. Stitching it isn’t the easiest, but the Faraday tape works perfectly.

The material was easy to work with, but frayed at the end. It’s meant to be an inner layer to block scanners. If you’re layering in between other layers, this will work great. Perfect for handmade purses, wallets, handbags, totes, etc. to protect your personal information. I tested on a tap debit card machine and it worked.

I bought this fabric to line a credit card holder to deflect RFID. So far, I have found the fabric to be durable and attractive and works well. I did have to heat seal the edges as it does fray.

When I received the product I took my cell phone started streaming a video then wrapped the entire piece of material around phone, multiple layers. Sat down and listened to the 35 minute video no problems receiving signal. Tried it on both wifi only and cellular only as well no problem with receiving signal through the material. Plain and simple does not work.

The fabric arrived quickly. The seller answered all questions in a timely fashion. This fabric has been good for helping in assisting with our mask making during the covid-19 issue. With added these to a specialized filter we created with a nonwoven fabric as well as a couple other lightweight fabrics to allow for optimal breathing, filtration and killing. So far, through our experiments this has been effective. The fabric was a decent size, suitable for the amount of masks we needed. Double layers also knocked out frequency from cell phone usage and helped with EMF protection as stated as well. This helped in a moment of crisis. It was the best we could do in a pinch. Thank you! The fabric was a one time use as copper is corrosive and finding a way to clean it after use is difficult.
