Description
Charmeuse is a light weight smooth silky fabric, it has a glossy reflective front. Charmeuse is often referred to as Satin, as Satin is commonly used to describe the texture of fabric (shiny, glossy, reflective, smooth, slippery). There are many different grades to Satin, Charmeuse being one of the lightest out of all the Satins. 100% polyester charmeuse is an inexpensive fabric which is cost efficient for any large projects. Charmeuse is extremely slippery, tends to cling and hang against the body. It is best suited for a more fluid, slinky bias cut. Charmeuse is used for lingerie, gowns, draped blouses, jackets, slacks, handkerchiefs, ties and much more! Many colors/styles/variations available!!

Used or repurposed?
Just a weird piece of fabric. It was as described, size and color. But the edges were like someone used a seam ripper to remove elastic from a fitted sheet. It works for what I needed but it isn’t new or unused.

So disappointed. They sent a piece of fabric that wasn’t cut properly or evenly.

This is very nice quality!
I had almost given up buying fabric online, then this was delivered. Came packaged nicely, it is m medium weight, no flaws, color as pictured ( light blue) and washed and dried beautifully! Will buy again.
