Non factory Kawasaki replacement bearing housing
It appears there is some sort of manufacturing residue left on the product. It's the grey material. Looking close you can see there is a small Oring built into the housing that I'm guessing helps with sealing to keep water from entering the hull/engine area. I asked for them to send me a new one and a return label so I could get a new one asap because we had a trip planned and send them this one back. They showed no interest in helping, simply said to open a return claim. I ended up spending more money and bought some silicone gasket maker to put on this because the built in Oring has defects(small Nick's in the sealing surface) and I didn't want to pull the motor out twice. With the silicone the bearing housing appears to be working. The right thing for them to do would have been to send me out a new one immediately... that would have been a 5 star company! But this was poor service and quality control on their part. 2 stars for wasting my time going back and forth with them and still no help :(

This one has lasted 5 days so far, one I bought from another Amazon seller failed on 3rd day of use.
