I have put together a lot of furniture in my time but this one was a doozy! It needs to be reconfigured to make it easier to assemble. The chair pad is very firm but the chair looks nice and is very sturdy.

First off directions weren’t the best. After completing assembly I noticed that the chair was damaged on the already assembled back piece. I wish I could return and get a refund but I’m not going to struggle to take them apart to box and send back. Not worth it! I was hoping I’d love them and sad the quality isn’t there!

This chair is on several websites. The most expensive price that I found was $635! The actual color (gravel) of the seat cushion has been a great topic of debate over all the websites. Some said brown, some gray. I was so happy to find out that it’s neither. There is no way to describe the color except to say it is every color! It is made up of threads of many different colors and the seat cushion with the wood color is beautiful. The seat cushion color, such as it is, goes with everything.In my house there is an open plan downstairs with the living room and dining room as one big room. Having the cut out in the back of the chair keeps the look of the open space, instead of cutting the living room off from the dining room.

Paid $164 last spring; now selling for $385. Worth $164. Seat has crease down the middle in front. It is an interesting design but this is knock down furniture. Seat is very firm and broad. I love looking at it and I'm glad I found it before the crazy pricing increase. It's just not a quality piece of furniture and shouldn't command the asking price.

These look awesome but are kind of a pain to put together in fact we didn’t even screw in the seat part to the base at the end and they still seem fully sturdy so I’ll take it. The color is a mix of brown white and black thread which when you star back really does create a “ gravel” look like they call it . If you are looking for pure grey tho this isn’t it just a disclaimer . I personally like it the color almost even create a texture due to the variety of threads

Four and a half stars. Great value, but the reviews are right. REALLY firm padding. Probably needs to be jumped on a few times or have a kettle ball of 50 lbs to soften the foam up. There's not bounce whatsoever. If you're looking for squishy butt padding, this isn't the right purchase. But, personally, I like it. I have a boney butt anyway.

The painted wood is different colors left side vs right side. The arms are not well made.: the whole for dowel was barely cut and therefore gaps at the joint. The pieces are flawed(arms) chipped (chair back) and scratched and scraped (legs). The wood is actually rough where your hand naturally falls, when sitting in this chair. Amazon should inspect their furniture before sending it out.The design of the chair is a good concept. I would say its extra wide; firm cushion and average height . The legs do not have a non skid or anti slip so watch hard wood floors. The cushion is brown with grey not grey with brown. The cushion is the best part and again I like the design.

Love the look of these chairs, and as others have mentioned - the seats are very firm (you won't sink in). The issue we've had is that the arm keeps popping out of the chair at each joint, if you apply weight on it (such as leaning your elbow). We'll add your own touches to help secure it.
