Dayton Audio PS95-8 3-1/2" Point Source Full Range Driver 8 Ohm

Used these in my 2018 Ram 1500 as dash speakers with a 800hz crossover running from a Kicker Key200.4 amp on a shared channel with the OE 4ohm front door speakers. They do overpower the front and rear doors, sensitivity is much higher than the OE speakers. The front sound stage is IMMACULATE!. Huge improvement over the OE non alpine speakers. I may still add dedicated 1" dome tweeters to fill the 15khz+ range, but compared to the paper 2.25 speakers that they replaced, the difference is night and day. Now to replace the other 4 speakers so I can hear them over these lol.

Great 8 ohm replacement speaker

This replaced the factory 3.5 inch center channel speaker on a Ford truck. Sounds much better with a smooth natural sound

I purchased the speaker because it was one of the only speakers on Amazon that had 8 ohms which was required for my car stereo system. I had to make a little bit of modifications to get it mounted in my vehicle, but I have had the speaker in my SUV for about a month now and it works great in the sound is great. It seems to be very rugged and high quality although I am not sure about it's longevity.

Needed 8 ohm for the dash of my pickup. All the car audio shops offer 4 ohm 3.5's, not good when running parallel with the front door speakers. I put Kicker 3.5, 4 ohm in first, but way too loud due to the low impedence. These solved my problem and sound great.

Feels like very nice quality. Can't complain about the speaker itself. But will complain about some reviews say it fits car dash applications, but it did not fit my 2017 Honda Civic Si dash center location. I realize car compatability will vary, the mounting depth was ok, but the surround was much more pronounced and would not nest in like the slightly smaller OEM (upside down/reverse mount). Also, the mounting holes didn't match up (slightly wider diameter). FYI, a car audio specific Infinity Reference 3.5" speaker also did not fit. So looks like stuck with OEM. Be sure to check for compatability before the return window is closed.

Excelente sonido

This is a very well designed speaker. It not only sounds great, but looks great too. The product was double-boxed (thank you!). It's a good thing, since the outer box was clearly crunched en route, but no harm done. The speaker includes a protective plastic cover to protect the speaker cone. This little speaker has a very heavy magnet. I'm using it in a custom-built AM/FM radio (single speaker), and it produces a good, full-range sound, despite its small size.
