Westinghouse 6691900 One-Light Jelly Jar Porch-Light, Matte Black

I needed a small light for the little covering over our back door. It's a 200 year old house, so was looking for something classic and simple. Very pleased. My electrician said it's better quality and less expensive than those at the local home imporovement store, and he thought it was well made. Puts out more than enough light to get your house unlocked in the dark, and looks simple, timeless and charming. Definitely recommend.

We have had the wall mounted version on the outside of our house for ten years. Got new ones recently when we had the house painted because they held up pretty well (we live close to the ocean) for something so economical. Neat and tidy. Originally we had fans up on the porch ceiling but decided not to replace all of them so I needed something by the front door. After considering a lot of fancier options we went with this ceiling mount jelly jar light that match the wall mounted ones perfectly. Looks great. Neat and tidy.

While there's not a lot to review here, Westinghouse delivers an inexpensive and well-assembled light for use in dry outdoor areas. The instructions are clear, the mounting materials fit within existing standards, and the construction is durable for its expected use. From opening the box to finished, I had the fixture installed in 10 minutes. The finish is well applied so I don't have to worry about the rust spots that collected on the previous brass fixture. I would recommend this product based on price and simplicity for a simple porch light.

I was having major commitment issues for my porch lights because they are too close together. I bought these because the price point was awesome and they were called “jelly jars” and I’m not disappointed with my purchase. These will hold me over until I’m ready to buy something bigger but they’re pretty cute and will probably just leave them forever. Great buy!

I was looking for a porch light with a closed cover because wasps kept making nests in my old fixture that was open at the bottom. This one works quite well. It’s a ceiling fixture, which isn’t that easy to find anymore. Most of the fixtures I see in stores are the kind you attach to the wall.

Purchased two to replace standard ceiling sockets. Both were simple to to wire and when paired with an Edison style light bulb, provide an industrial feel to an otherwise nondescript light. The glass cover is thick and substantial but is securely attached to the metal base with three screws. Would absolutely purchase more if ever the need or want arises.

Simple light, easy to install. Good value and a nice simple look.

I’m actually using this as the light in my bathroom. The bathroom is big but the commode is in a little room with a door so it works perfectly

Destaca mucho . Justo en la entrada. Bonito diseño clasico . No usual en MExico ...Clasico pero moderno al ismo tiempo, su tono satinado hace ese lindo contraste

I live in a 400 sq ft condo with exposed concrete ceilings. This fixture along with a 1000 lm LED bulb does a great job at illuminating the space.

Son lámparas pequeñas pero muy lindas, el tarro de vidrio es muy grueso y a pesar que no son para exterior yo las coloqué en mi jardín. Facilísima de instalar y sin necesidad de hacer perforaciones o adaptaciones.

Love these!!! Could only find them in white in store, so glad we found these!!
