Gives your acoustic instrument a little more juice
I purchased this amp for my sitar before I discovered the Marshall mini full stack (which is essentially two of these little guys in one unit). This one works just fine if you're seeking to give your instrument a little more volume. It's hyper-compact and fits in the palm of your hand. I would recommend the full stack Marshall mini, however, since it's almost as lightweight but produces more volume.

Super
Great little practice amp for my daughter. Typical Marshall quality and sound. She loves the color and the belt clip.

Easy to use and great value for the money
It’s not very loud but it is easy to carry and easy to use. It’s compatible with my guitars and easily fits in the case.

Poor sound quality for the price
Disappointed. I purchased this for my Yamaha Silent guitar. For the price, compared to other mini amps, the sound quality was poor. It was very tinny even with the tone controls adjusted. Though it allows for a 9v plug in or a battery, you’d think for the price, they’d throw in a 9v adapter. They don’t.

A nice little gadget
Look, this obviously is not going to give you JCM 800 tones, but it’s a really fun, operational, talking piece on your desk.I’m really happy with it. As long as you’re not expecting something to bring to a rehearsal or to record, you’ll be happy with it too.

Good for travel playing
It is good for those who want to play equivalent to acoustical with an electric. Really convenient for the silent performer. The wife loves hers but I am a rock and roller.

More of a novelty item
Fun to mess around with when away from your amp but the sound quality is abhorrent and volume capability is minimal. I am guessing the markup on this must be 5000% as its just cheap plastic, nothing at all "Marshall" about it. I would shop for something else if you were looking for a viable practice amp option, this is a toy.

Don't buy this!
This completely stopped working after my daughter used it several times. We bought it for her to take to guitar lessons back and forth. We thought it was the batteries and kept changing them. We also checked the wire we were using with it to make sure it wasn't that, because we thought for sure this brand new amp isn't already done! It looks cool but doesn't work very cool!
